FUCK! Taecyeon thinks as he pouts internally.

It could've been him going to save Rachel from the man at the bar. Unfortunately, Mike was faster than Taecyeon at recognizing what was happening. For now, Taec swears that Rachel and him had a moment. Butterflies consumed every inch of his body thinking about it.

Do I drink more?

Taecyeon takes the seat next to Kelsey who is now distracted by her phone. Probably talking to her boyfriend. Rachel shifts to the spot next to Taec, leaning against the wall, sipping her beer.

"I'm so sorry", she said.

Taec looks up at her.

"For what?", he asks, recalling every detail of what has happened this evening. He can't think of anything. It is also a little hard to concentrate on anything other than the fact that she pushed him away when he tried to kiss her.

Is this me getting rejected? No. You can't get rejected without asking. Stupid.

"For making it awkward," she said.

"No! I'm sorry!" he said, "It's all my fault."

"You didn't get hit on at the bar", she said with slight confusion.

Oh... she was not talking about the almost kiss.

"Oh yeah, that... it must happen a lot to you when you go out." Of course, it would, she's gorgeous.

"Um, I don't really go out when I'm in Canada. I mostly work. Go to the gym. Read. I sometimes go to work functions, I guess it happens sometimes, but professionalism is key."

"Are you ok?" he asks her in Korean.

"Yes, sunbae", she confirmed (in Korean) with a peace sign up to her face. She's so cute.

My heart! Calm down.

"Hey, are you ready to go back to the hotel soon?" she asked, looking at her watch.

Taecyeon looks down at his watch and it says 00:45. Dang! It's past midnight. Tomorrow, or rather... today, is the reunion of old band members, but it doesn't start until 4pm. That gives them plenty of time to luncheon.

"Absolutely!" he replies and pulls out his phone to order an Uber. "Pedro will be here in 12 minutes," he tells Rachel.

The next 11 minutes were spent saying goodbye to the group of friends they are leaving behind, and goodbye to Playoffs. The location of the almost kiss with Rachel Park.
