Abby's mom told her that she was too young for working , so she told her to stay home . So Abby's mom prepared the breakfast quickly and then , she left to work on her job , being a laundry attendant . In the house only was her father , her brother and her . Her father was sleeping again , with the tv on , so Abby and her brother decided to go outside again , to keep looking for a job .
Abby took her grand grandmother's jacket , and she put it on of her favorite green dress . They opened the door slowly , because the door was too noisy , and her father can wake up , so they go outside and closed it .
They started running because they saw that their father's light turned up . They ran as far as they can , until it started to rain .
They wait in a café that was 10 blocks down their house . It passed 1 hour when the rain was stopping , they went out of the café , and ran in the street , because the rain was heavy again . Abby stopped when her jacket fell , her brother told her to keep running , because there was coming a bus . Abby ran , and when she was in the sidewalk with her brother , he asked : Where's your jacket? . She answered with tears in her face : It is in the street , it is wet , and now the bus step on it ! . Her brother . feeling guilty , told her that he promised that he is going to find a jacket for her . Abby wasn't as sad as she was , and drying her tears she said : Promise? . And her brother said : Promise .
