Chapter 10- A lots of kisses

Jasmine pov-

After our meeting, Chris asked me to stay, he wanted to talk something about our date. I don't know what to think at this moment, what is the thing that he want to talk about. I was in his office when I noticed how classy his office was.

Cream walls, and in center was his table with his monitor and some files. There was a glass wall on the one side of his office, from where we can see different scenarios going outside and near that there was a couch and a glass table. I was looking outside the window when I saw one of the magazine was kept on the table near couch.

I pick it up and sat on the couch and start reading it. As a photographer I was always interested in magzines, why because there I can see lots of people of different types and there experiences in this amazing world and the best part of it was photos. I observe each photos in the magazine and try to gain some extra knowledge and how to catch more realistic and beautiful photos.

Skipping through the magazine I came toward an article which was related to Chris, and as always I started reading it. Just then Chris came. He asked me if I was angry with him but I  told him that I was only angry on him for not replying my test message and for not any other reason.

Then he told me about his plan of having our date in his resort because he wants me to be the first person to visit some special places in it and I  told him that I was okay with it. Then he asked me to be his girlfriend to which I reply yes and asked him to be my boyfriend, but I was blushing very hard we both were even holding hands which was a great progress for both of us.

However, Ms Linda came an and informed Chris about an urgent meeting and eyed us both and with a sweet smile she leave us. I told Chris to attend the meeting as I also have some work to do.

When we were leaving I pulled Chris through his hands and suddenly gave him a kiss on his cheeks by which he was stunned but what can I do we were already very slow, so someone had to make this pace fast, even that someone has to be me. He was standing there shockingly so without any delay I told him bye and leave from there.

Now I was in my office and was finalizing the photos of Chris because I have to submit it to the magazine department for further process.
Suddenly my phone started ringing which was in my purse, I took it out and saw my sister Azalea calling me.

"Hey little sis long time no see oh sorry call,do you want anything again or you made mom angry so you want me to save you." I asked her.
"Jamie it's not what you are thinking I didn't do anything this time,but I guess mom's favourite daughter did. " Lea told me. She calls me jamie and I call her lea lovingly.
"What! I didn't do anything why would she be angry with me" I asked with confusion.
"I don't know but here mom wants to talk to you,she is angry because you are again ignoring her calls and for another reason too which I don't know...oh mom is coming I am handing her the phone,and I am sorry."
"Lea wait don't-" I was telling her not to give phone to mom when suddenly my mom started speaking.

"Jasmine you are again ignoring my phone calls?" my mom asked. With a sigh I replied her.
"Yes mom I did, but what can I do you when you were forcing me to go on different dates which I don't like, you even involved Jane in this. And before you scold me I went to the date okay." I said getting angry and slightly emotional.
"So do you like that guy Nicole should I tell his parents that you are ready for a marriage." Mom asked me hopefully.
"Mom wait, i only went on a date and I don't like him he is not my type you should tell them that I said no." I told mom.

"Jasmine why are you like this you always disappoint me in this matter." Mom told me.
"Mom please I am not in the mood of fighting with you,and don't tell me that I am disappointing you,please." I said feeling that I will cry. Mom huffed a sigh and told me.
"Oh dear,but I only want to see you happy with someone, you didn't had a boyfriend since school. I sometime even think if my daughter is straight or not." Mom told me and I become shocked, I lived with her for whole 18 years and here she is thinking that I am not straight.
