A story about an unknown Professor from the Galar Region. He does research and goes out helping pokemon in need. This story captures his adventures with his trusted buddy pokemon Alpha, his Weavile.
The morning arrives in Freezington and there seems to be a light gust of snow falling through the trees. The people in town go outside to look at their crops or going to take a walk with their partner pokemon.
A Lapras sounding alarm goes off in Aspen's bedroom and he quickly wakes up. Looking like he slept great, Aspen gets dressed and immediately walks out of his bedroom to go into his lab. He took some coffee beforehand and happily walks into his lab towards the small spot where his Weavile is sleeping.
Aspen: Hey Alpha (Weavile), did you sleep well buddy?
*Weavile responds kinda slow, signalling that he is still very tired.*
Aspen: Alright than *pats Weavile on the head*. You can go back to sleep. I have to go talk to Oak, he said something about a Dragonair that had some issues. Hopefully it's not that bad, something I can fix up easily.
Professor Aspen flicks on some extra lights and starts up his PC so he can try to reach Oak. Walking through his laboratory, he goes to check up on some recovering pokemon that he received from local trainers. Some have a few light scratches and some others have collapsed after their trainer went too hard in battle. Luckily no real dangerous injuries that can't be fixed.

Aspen walks over to his PC that is finally on, takes a sip of his freshly brewed coffee and tries to find professor Oak's name in a list of people.
*A video call with Oak opens up*

Aspen: There it is, hello there Oak.
Oak: How are you Aspen, still have a lot of patients there?
Aspen: Nothing major here, a few bruised pokemon, resting pokemon and there's one Snorlax with a stomach issue but he's slowly getting better now. I heard you had a Dragonair for me to look at?
Oak: That's right, nurse Joy has looked at him a few times but it seems the Dragonair is very stand offish. If he needs surgery than you're the one who would be perfect for it. So if I send him to you, could you take a look?
Aspen: Sure, I'm always happy to lend a hand.
Oak: That's fantastic, I'll send him through right now.
