A story about an unknown Professor from the Galar Region. He does research and goes out helping pokemon in need. This story captures his adventures with his trusted buddy pokemon Alpha, his Weavile.
On a very relaxed morning, Aspen gets woken up by chirping Swablu. He gets up and goes to the kitchen for a hot cup of coffee with a bit of moomoo milk. Weavile still asleep in the corner of the living room gets woken up by the squeeking floor boards, but puts his head down right after and falls back to sleep.
The PC is ringing to sign for a video call. Aspen walks up to the PC and opens up a call from Professor Rowan.
Rowan: Good morning Aspen, hope I didn't wake you with the call.
Aspen: Don't worry about it, I was already starting my morning in the kitchen. How are you doing over there professor?
Rowan: Still working on evolution research, but that's not the reason I called. I took the time to read your book, the one you wrote during your time at the university. Since you talk a lot about anatomy in pokemon I had the realisation we could work together on some studies. A lot of pokemon their evolution traits change their body type and makes readjustments to their physical appearance.
Aspen: I'd love to work on this together. But since it's been a few months since I became a pokemon professor I still don't have money for big travels like this.
Rowan: Don't even worry about it, I sent you a digital ticket to sail all the way from Galar to here. We'll be able to receive you at the shores and within a day we can already start the introduction to the research I've been planning. So if you would start packing tomorrow, we can start this all up by next Wednesday.
Aspen: I had a seminar tomorrow which I didn't know if I would want to join or not, but this makes up my mind quick and easy haha. I'll get myself ready tomorrow, prepare my two pokemon as well and I'll see you soon.
Rowan: Great to hear, looking forward to our cooperation Aspen.
*Video call closes itself*
Aspen gets up from his chair all excited and starts cheering. Weavile, who's still somewhat asleep in the corner, looks up at Aspen with one eye open and goes to lay down again nodding his head.
Aspen: DRAGONITE!!! Buddy, where are you?
Dragonite walks in through the back door of Aspen's House with a confused look on his face. Aspen running towards him and stands before him looking all excited.
Aspen: I hope you like travel, because you, Weavile and I are going to see Rowan in Sinnoh for research. You'll be able to play around in the flower fields, we'll go and see Mount Coronet and I'll be doing research with Rowan. Isn't that awesome???
Dragonite pumping both his arms and getting as excited as Aspen about the whole idea of travelling. Weavile slowly getting up and walking over to his bowl of poffins, while not fully awake yet, gets surprised with an excited Aspen in front of him.
Aspen: Working with Rowan, who would've thought I'd be teaming up with other professors around the world. This is going to be the best Alpha (Aspen's Weavile)
Weavile scratches the back of his head, yawns and keeps walking to his bowl of food.
The next day Aspen had packed his stuff to make his journey towards Sinnoh. He gets on the yacht, arranged by Rowan's team and he enjoys every bit of the view. He looks at the ocean where Gyarados are seen surfacing a little before diving back down.
Mantine and Remoraid are swimming all over the place and in the sky he sees Wingull flying in big groups and higher up in the sky there's a flock of Pidgeot seen flying the opposite direction of the yacht's direction.
