*3rd person*
Cal turned his body so that when the portal opened he jumped out and landed on his feet. Lychee landed next to him and Riccaro fell on the ground with Davis. Cal chuckled as he helped them up.
"Alright. Time to figure out where we are this time." Cal said looking around at the empty city. All round them crack buildings laid but what caught most of them off guard was the zombie. Lychee cut it down and made a grossed out face at the smell.
"Alright noted we are probably in a place that is going through a zombie apocalypse." Cal said
"I'm sorry what?" Davis said
"What's a zombie apocalypse?" Riccaro asked
"Is this green dead thing a zombie?" Lychee asked
"Ok first yes that's a zombie, second Riccaro a zombie apocalypse is basically when almost the entirety of the human world is over runned by the death walking corpses of people who have been killed or infected." Cal explained.
"Oh also I look human." Riccaro said
"Probably for the better in all honesty." Lychee said
"Ya ok let's not stay out in the open then let's find shelter." Davis said and Cal nodded
All four of them walked hoping to find shelter. Little did they know they were being watched.
*Lychee's pov*
Walking around here was weird enough. The fact the Riccaro looks human and I'm not red anymore makes it weirder.
We all stopped as we saw a metal person laying in the road. Riccaro went up to it and poked it and it moved getting up so suddenly that Cal jumped.
"Huh? Oh who are you guys are you guys like new survivors? I've never seen you around here." The metal person said
"Um we are survivors and we have been on the move to hopefully go away from any large groups of zombies." Cal said regaining his composure.
"Oh well your in luck a hoard just passed by they shouldn't be here anymore." The man said
"Ok can we get your name?" I asked
"Oh it's Podrick. What are your names?"
"I'm Lychee."
"Hi I'm Riccaro."
"My name is Davis but just call me bro."
"My name's Cal."
Podrick nodded before three people came out of the near by forest they didn't seem to be running.
"Oh good other people do any of you have a like weapon!?" One of the yelled.
"I do." I said
"Ok we lost our weapons earlier and there's like five walkers on us can you help!?" They asked and I summoned my scythe after Cal nodded to me.
"Lucas, Brandon, David what are you guys doing here?" Podrick asked as I watched four slowly come forward but one was a baby which I happily cut right in half before cutting off the heads of the four zombies all at once.
"Wow your good at controlling that." I looked over that the person who somehow had a clipboard on them.
"Ya anyways. Who are you three?" I asked
"Lucas"
"Brandon"
"David"
I nodded and we introduced ourselves again before going into conversation.
Apparently Lucas's is called Ligma by his friends, Brandon's Blueberry, and the last one Skittles? Well rainbow arm can be something.
We followed them to their place which was I will admit small at first but as soon as we dropped down into the space it was so much larger.
"Wow. I wasn't expecting this." Cal said and I nodded.
"I think it's cool." Davis said
"I loved that drop reminds me of being yeeted from Mercury." Riccaro said the other four looked at us.
"Does your head have some lose bolts? No one can survive on Mercury much let being yeeted from it." David said and I snorted.
"It's a true story." Davis said
"You should see him when he doesn't look human." I said and Cal groaned.
"I think we might need to sit for this." Cal said going to the couches and we all sat down.
"To put it simply. We're from another world or plane of existence. We're here because my magic went out of control and it has been teleporting us to various random locations. I believe you guys are stop 3 for us...wait not 4." Cal said and the other people blinked at us.
"You expect us to believe that?" David said before an excited yell came from Riccaro.
"I'm red again!" Riccaro said and all of their jaws dropped.
"Wait he's seriously red." Brandon asked
"I mean I somewhat believed them but this just proves it even more." Lucas said
"Ya so we have to wait for the portal to open. It opened at random time most times during or after an event." Cal said
"Oh so now we're observing this portal." Davis said
"Might as well know about it more so that we know how to maybe land or prepare ourselves for it's upcoming." Cal said and I rolled my eyes.
"Does this happen a lot?" Brandon asked
"being a demigod isn't the easiest thing." I said and they blinked at me.
"Wait you guys are demigods?" Lucas asked
"Yup." I said
"At this point I believe them. Look." Brandon said and I looked over to see Riccaro holding up Cal and Davis. Cal looked just done with this world.
"That's actually pretty normal." I said
"You guys are weird." David said
"Thank you." I said before feeling a tug and Cal perked up.
"Guys I think the portals back again." Cal said and just like that the port opened.
"Well. It was nice meeting you guys." I said and I watched Cal get set down and both Davis and Riccaro ran on in I looked at Cal and he nodded before going through.
"Bye bye!" I said and I waved bye and they waved bye as I jumped up and let the pull take me.
I was not prepared for where we were going to land next.
