Third Person POV

You're beginning to feel frustrated. As Time continues to tick by, you lie there awake. You tried to make yourself busy by watching Bain sleep.

For a little while, the steady rise and fall of his nack calmed you down. But everytime you glanced at the clock only to find that several minutes have gone by and you still didn't feel tired, and your mind tends to wander.

You let out a long and heavy sigh and brushed your hands over your face. When you did so, Bain rolled over to face you.

His eyes still closed, breathing still and slow and steadily, he was still sleeping. There was a tug at your heart, which is a sudden urge to wake him up.

That thought crossed your mind several times tonight but you tried to get rid of it from your mind. You kept telling yourself that he's worn out and tired and he needs his rest.

But you do too, and it seemed like the thought of him holding you close brought you the most comfort.

You moved your hand to his arm. You let it fall gently before brushing your fingertips along his soft skin slowly and softly.

He stirred a little but didn't really wake up till you whispered his name a couple of times.

"Y/n?" he mumbled as he opened his eyes, regretting it when he was met with nothing but plain old darkness.

"Yeah, Byeonghee-yah, I can't sleep" you mumbled quietly enough for him to hear "Okay, what do you need? What can I do for you my love?" he cutely asked, still half asleep.

It warmed your heart to know that he was so willing to help you, despite him still being half asleep in midnight.

"I just want you to hold me please" you said. You watched a smile tug at his lips and he patted the spot beside him.

There wasn't much space between you, to begin with, but he wanted you close to him as much as possible.

You happily scooted closer to him. He immediately tangled his legs with yours and put his arm around your stomach to hold you securely.

Bain's lips brushing your cheek softle, you felt his breath hit your skin as he whispered in your ear "Is that better Y/n/n?" he said.

"Yeah" you said nodding "I always feel so much better when you hold me close to you" you said as you dropped your head against your chest and let out a contented sigh fall from your lips.

Despite how tired Bain felt, he was still staying awake until you makes sure you fall asleep.

"Well in that case, I'll never ever let you go then" he whispered and buried his lips on your hair, kissing across the crown of your head lovingly.

"Sleep tight Y/n/n, always remember that I'm right here if you need anything and I love you a lot" Bain said lovingly.

"I love you too Byeonghee-yah" you mumbled before drifting off to your dreamland.

It was a few minutes later when Bain finally let his heavy eyes close once more. When he knew you were sound asleep and would get the rest you truly deserved.
