(Y/n) spent the next few days exploring on his own, just seeing what NYC had to offer. His personal favorite was the art museum, and he enjoyed getting pizza as well.

Today was the day of the table reading, and (Y/n) was in a taxi driving to the set. Once he arrived, he walked inside and saw Florence.

"Hi (Y/n)!" She called out, waving at him from where she was sitting. He smiled and walked over to her. They took a quick goofy selfie and Florence posted it on her Instagram story.

Emma had walked into the room, seeing (Y/n) and Florence laughing at something on her phone. A pang of jealousy came over her, but she didn't know why. She wasn't dating him, so why was she feeling like this? She certainly didn't know. Sure, she thought he was handsome, but this feeling continued whenever she glanced over at them.

"Well, you look angry." Saoirse commented, standing next to Emma.

"I'm not.." She mumbled bitterly, seeing (Y/n) and Florence taking selfies.

"Ohhh, you're jealous of Florence and (Y/n)! Don't worry, I think he likes you."

"You do? Well, I don't like him. I barely know him." She explained, although nobody really believed her.

"Yeah, you know he's attractive. If you didn't think he was hot I would assume there's something wrong with you." Saoirse reasoned, Emma rolling her eyes. "Timmy told me all about your hangout, and how you two kept looking at each other. He definitely feels something for you from what I've heard."

"You think so?" Emma asked, Saoirse motioning for her to look at him.

She turned her head, seeing (Y/n) looking at her. This time instead of looking away, he smiled brightly and waved at her, his cheeks tinted pink.

"Maybe he does..." She mumbled, waving back at him, her face turning red.

"Alright everyone! Take your seats! You have a name card placed where your seat is! Let's get started!" Greta announced, everyone making their way to the large table.

(Y/n) was sat next to Emma and Timothee, while Florence was next to Timothee on his other side. They started their table read, and it turns out (Y/n) and Emma are love interests. Emma's whole day brightened at that news, and so did (Y/n)'s.

The table read went by slowly, and (Y/n) thought it was kind of boring, but he didn't let it show. He needed to be prepared, but he occasionally snuck glances at Emma when she wasn't looking, and she did the same.

He thought she looked very pretty, especially when she was focused on the task at hand. He could stare at her for hours, she was just that beautiful.

"(Y/n)! Stop staring at Emma, this is your line!" Timothee whispered, nudging him and getting him out of his thoughts.

"Right! Sorry, just zoned out for a bit..." He apologized, his face going red, knowing Emma had heard what Timothee said.

"Sure you did..." Saoirse teased.

"Just say the line (Y/n)." Greta instructed, ending the topic of why he was distracted.

"Right. Okay." He nodded, and they continued their table read.

The table read went fine, nothing too interesting after he had gotten caught staring at Emma. Once the read ended, (Y/n) was making his way outside.

"(Y/n)! Wait up!" Emma called out, jogging after him.

"What's up?" He asked, Emma catching her breath.

"I was wondering...if you wanted to..get some coffee sometime?" She asked through trying to catch her breath.

"Sure. Just text me when. I leave on Sunday to go back home for a bit before filming starts." He told her, and she nodded.

"Perfect. Maybe this Friday?" She offered, earning another nod from him.

"Sounds great. See you then." He agreed, walking off set and catching a cab.

"Well, you're going on your first date with him on Friday?" Saoirse asked, obviously overhearing their entire conversation.

"Well, it's not necessarily a date.."

"You aren't fooling anyone, it's incredibly obvious."

"What do you mean?"

"It's very obvious you like him! And he likes you too! He was staring at you during the table read! He's obviously into you."

"It's still not a date."

"Then make it one."
