Eda was looking for one document. Just one. One single document. That damn contract. That's all she needed left. But that piece of paper seemed to be nowhere, but it had to be there. At the head-chief's office. Where did that old hag put that paper? Eda sighed. Veronica was a pain in her ass even when she wasn't around. Without that document, half their operation could go to shit. That's how important it was. Her heart started to race when she heard two steps and the door opening. She felt like dying for a second, but it was only Serkan. Bastard! "You almost killed me", she puts her hand in her chest to calm down her heart. "Sus", he whispers. "Hadi", he motions for her to come to him. "Nereye?", she asks and gets pulled down to his lap. He's sitting on the chair that was meant for visitors and clients at Veronica's office and murmurs a quick "don't ask" before he starts kissing her and pulling her closer. The door opens again and it's the man that was talking with Veronica, and the woman herself, standing in front of them. "See? I told you", the woman looks at the man besides her and points. "What are you doing in my office, miss?", she turns to Star, questioning angrily. She snaps her fingers to get her attention right when they stop kissing. "Veronica, don't you see we're busy?", she asks and the woman realizes the company. That man was coming here too much, and he only came for Star, she never realized that until now. "I'm sorry, ma'm", Serkan figures he should say something. "It was my fault, I wanted a more private place", he says. "You should've gotten a private room, not my office", she whines. "Star had no appointments left for the night," he explains. "Then come tomorrow", the woman's voice showed annoyance. "Can't you wait? It's not everything in your time, young people", she whines like the old woman she is. "Get off my office", she yells. "Now", and they can do nothing but get up and leave. When they're at a very reasonable distance from the office, they can breathe normally. "That was close", she murmurs. "How'd you know?", she asks. "I heard them when I was gonna leave", he says. She nods, putting her hand on her chest, still her heart pounding with that almost-bust. "I couldn't find it", her voice was desperate. "Sakin ol," he says. "Don't worry", he touches her arm, in a comforting way. "We'll figure it out", he says, but his voice is distant. Serkan was using all of his field intelligence to find a way out of this crusade, but they couldn't rise any more suspicions, which made everything harder. It had to be here, unless... Unless it was at her apartment in East Paris. Ferit and a few agents were doing field work, very lowkey and secretively, following around some associates and, in one of these night-outs, two agents followed Veronica to her house. If she didn't keep these documents around here in "plain sight", then it was at her house. And they would have to break in to find it. The document was nothing less than the agreement the bosses had about Le Saints proving their illegal activities; this would keep them in jail with no bail out for their lifetime. Eda snaps her fingers to bring Serkan back to Earth. "Hey", she calls. "Ne?", she murmurs a silent question and he just motions for her to follow him. They have to blend in. "We need to break it to her house," he whispers, as soon as they sit on the bar. "Whose?", she asks clueless. Her eyes suddenly wide open. "Yok", she protest. "Evet", he answers. "We can't, she has security and cameras all around", she whispers close to his ear, pretending to grab the menu on his side. "How you know?", he raises an eyebrow. "I went to her place once, briefly", she's objective. "Then you know how it looks like", he nods. She just nods back. "Good", he just replies, and sips his drink. Serkan already had the whole plan set up in his mind, he just needed to talk to Ferit and fill Eda in. They'd break into Veronica's house tomorrow night.
"HELL NO", Eda yelled when they met several hours later at the Basement. It was almost morning again and they still hadn't gone to sleep. And apparently Eda would stay restless after finding out what they are doing on the following night. "Eda, sus", Serkan gestures for her to keep quiet. "I'm not doing this," she bails. "You are, you are the only one that knows the place", he says. "What am I supposed to do?", she yells, them lowers her voice. "This is impossible, we'll get caught", she says. "Eda", he walks towards her and put both his hands on her arms. Trust me", he says, and turns back to the table. Ferit is ready with his notepad to take his necessary notes when Serkan passes a pen and paper to Eda, so she can draw a sketch of the plant of the apartment and the strategic points, guards and cameras. They didn't go to sleep until it was 9am and the plan was perfectly drew.
