It was a quiet day at the station, the team was just hanging out and passing time until shift was over. Even though it just started they were already bored.

It was Andy's day for desk duty, and for the last 15 minutes she has just been spinning in her chair and sharpening every pencil in sight. You could clearly tell she was bored out of her mind. "Ugh can someone at least call once before i die from boredom." she said, falling back into her chair.

"I can tell someone's bored." robert said laughing coming down the stairs

"Why do I have to get desk duty on the slowest day? You would think not having to do any work is fun but now that I have nothing to do it's definitely not."

"I know a way we could pass some time." Robert said walking over to Andy who was sitting in the chair, and she wrapped her arms around his lower abdomen laying her head on his stomach.

"You know I would love to but... I have to be here in case someone walks in." she said in a sad tone because she could really use some husband time right now.

"Ok your loss." Robert said, kissing her head and walking back up the stairs. She bit her lip and watched as her husband walked away out of sight.

She was snapped out of her thoughts when the buzzer to the front door rang. She looked towards the door and saw a man standing there. She buzzed him in and he walked through the door towards the front desk.

"How may I help you?" Andy said with a smile on her face.

He picked up a bag and placed it on the counter. "I was wondering if you could fix this for me." he said as his cheeks blushed a little bit of embarrassment and also a little bit because of the woman in front of him.

"Let me guess... it's a fire alarm" andy said laughing while grabbing the bag and looking inside "ha knew it." They both laughed.

"Is it even fixable? It was super annoying so I kind of broke it... kinda means a lot."

"Yeah it's totally fixable, it might take some time though so you can pull up a chair if you want." she said, pulling the fire alarm out and grabbing the mini toolbox under the counter. While he pulled up a chair next to her.

They sat there for a bit while she was fixing the alarm and they were just laughing and making small talk. You could tell he was flirting on purpose, even if she didn't mean to, she was definitely flirting back.

"So, you're telling me the lady's dog was stuck in the tree?" Andy nods. "How does that work? I thought it was cats that got stuck in trees." he said laughing

"I really don't know. That dog was something else." Andy said, joining the guy in laughter.

While the guy and Andy were laughing, Robert came down the stairs. He instantly became confused when he saw a random stranger laughing with his wife.

"Hey!" Robert said, interrupting their conversation.

"Hey!" Andy says in an awkward voice standing up fast, which made the man turn around towards Robert.
"This is Brad... Brad, this is um... Battalion Chief Sullivan."

Robert was confused why Andy introduced him as Chief Sullivan and not Robert because everyone already knew about them, literally the whole city of seattle knew about their relationship after his trial.

"Hi." Brad said, standing up, shaking Robert's hand. Out of respect, Robert shook his hand back and then turned to andy.

"Could you help me with something real quick?" Robert said, trying to pull her aside.

"I'm kinda in the middle of something." she says. They are both staring into eachothers eyes, she knew he was mad about how she introduced him. But she also had no idea why she introduced him that way, she guessed having a cute man next to her messed with her head for a bit.
