chapter 4

Sara's POV:

Ava is on edge lately. Oh I forgot Ava is my wolf. She is the one who is keeping me sane for the past two days. Denny didn't call me for two days and I had informed Alpha John about it. He has gone along with his warriors after Alice confirmed him that she will be fine.

Ava is very sad and moody today when I tried to talk to her she just blocked me. I have a feeling something is happening to Denny. Since he didn't mark me I won't be able to feel anything but I know Denny is not doing well

It's 4 in the evening and I was lazing in my bedroom when I heard Alice shouting and crying at the top of her voice. I jumped from my bed and went down to see what is happening there. The site in front of me made me faint.

"Will she be fine doctor?" I could here someone talking.

"She is fine Luna but when we tell her the news I don't know what will happen to her" said another voice maybe the doctor. What news are they going to give me. Then I remembered our Alpha covered in blood and....and...my Denny. I was trying hard to breathe.

"Doctor come fast Sara is hyperventilating".

"Sara dear can you here me. Please open your eyes dear" a frantic luna was trying to wake me up.

I slowly opened my eyes and then I burst into crying in my Luna's arms.

"Sshh Sara it's ok please cry how much ever you want. I won't stop you. I know what you are thinking. It's true dear Denny is no more."

I blinked once, twice, and looked at her as if she has two heads. "What do you mean?" I asked her.

She was looking at me with painful eyes. "Yes dear the body that you saw near John was our Denny's."

My mate my love my other half is no more. The beta of our pack is no more. "Ava" I tried to talk to my wolf but she is sad and depressed that she blocked me. I know she is missing Carl Denny's wolf as much as I am missing Denny.

Why goddess why? Why did you do this to me? Why did you snatch my love from me?

Again I started crying till sleep evades me.
