Rimuru's Pov

The journey east towards the 'Path of Peace' has been interesting, the further from the capital the more pleasant people and less horrors. The countryside is not without depravity and immorality though, it seems some groups come out here to abduct people precisely for there more innocent nature. Naturally I have dealt with a variety of criminals, but I am still happy to be on this journey away from the big city.

The clean air is very refreshing and the beautiful trees calming to the soul. This is the kind of place that many people on Earth might dream about retiring after decades of working in the city. A few days away from the city where the Path of Peace is based I learned more about what the religion actually stands for.

From what I understand it is mainly about showing kindness to others and doing the right thing, one random act of kindness a day kind of thing. It is refreshing to hear that kind of ideology in this world but I'm sure it, like everything else in the world is riddled with corruption. The people in this area also seems to really like the Path of Peace followers and pastors, I wonder if I'll have to kill this 'Lord' guy who is the creator and leader. I also learned about him some more, apparently he has powers to see the future as well as some healing ability, both of which he was born with. He seems like a real messiah type, hopefully he isn't faking it and taking advantage of his followers.

Either way, after this mission I need to take some time to train my abilities, while training with Gozuki I trained skills and methodology but couldn't train my magic or skills from my world. If I am going to take on teigu users I am going to need to have every weapon at my disposal, it also may be a good idea to find some teigu I can eat and get abilities from. I really need some kind of teigu that holds a lot of energy, with that I could be able to use my abilities more freely and maybe be able to use gluttony in combat without paying a cost in magicules. I think that will also be necessary if I ever find a space teigu, I highly doubt I have enough energy to make an interdimensional jump through space-time. From what I remember Veldora told me that summoning otherworlders took 30 magicians multiple days to do, and that world was much richer in ambient magicules then this one.

After a few more days of talking with Great Sage I was now outside the city on a mountain ridge looking down on the city. The site could be considered quite beautiful to some, it didn't compare to a modern Earth city scape or the capital but it was still nice and had its own charm.

While thinking of where I should look first for this guy I heard some sound around thirty meters away from me, I looked over and saw a person. It was a man with long white hair, purple eyes, and the attire of a clergymen.

"The Lord I presume?"

He looked at me with sleepy eyes and a kind smile, I wasn't necessarily buying it with my skills I could tell we wasn't armed so there is not needed to even think him dangerous at all.

"I see you already know of me traveler; I have come to speak with you for very important reasons."

I just looked at him calmly before speaking.

"If your visions are real I'm guessing you already know what I would like to know, tell me about all the teigu you know."

The 'Lord' just looked at me before speaking.

"My visions can't see you specifically traveler from another world, but I have the answers you seek. For payment just answer me one of my questions and I will tell you what you want."

"If you do know what I want to know I'll do pretty much anything, so ask away."

"If you get the items you seek will you abandon your family? I have seen their future without you and although not the worst, neither get what one would call a happy ending."
