Rimuru in Akame Ga Kill [Book 1]

Chapter 9: Kill the Introduction

Rimuru's Pov

It has been a few hours since the fight with Zank, it was a pretty easy fight to be honest. For an imperial arms user I thought it would be harder to be honest but I guess I kind of counter a lot of its abilities. For whatever reason he couldn't read my mind even though I wasn't trying to do anything special, I wonder if it is because I am not human and don't really have a brain to read. I assume he also can't switch between who he is disguising himself as quickly, perhaps there is even a cooldown.

On other note I kind of hope that brown haired guy isn't compatible with it, not only does it look like a weirdo's teigu but it also really doesn't seem that strong compared to other ones I heard of. If I can eat it and get an ability or two from it that would be really helpful.

I have been listening in on them before I make my entrance, they all seemed really shocked that I knew where their base was. I also know who their 'boss' is, from what I know she is Former Imperial General Najenda who defected to the rebellion a while ago. She might know about some of Esdeath's abilities which could help me in a fight against her, currently I only know Esdeath has insane physical and complete mastery over ice.

After thinking and listening for a little while longer I decided it is time to go inside. I calmy walked in and straight towards the main room where they were all talking, using [Magic Sense] I know where they are so it is easy to walk straight there, not to mention I've been inside a few times before. Once I get to the door of the room I knock three times and ask to enter, after a "come in" I open the door and walk in.

Once I walk in a see the entire group looking at me, for some reason green haired boy I know as Lubbock is looking at me in a perverted way. Knowing Akame she probably never mentioned I was a guy, ahhh well whatever I don't care anymore at this point so I wont bring it up unless asked. I decided to break the silence.

"Hey team, I'm sure Akame told you a little about me but my names Rimuru Tempest but you can call me Rimuru. I like food, cooking, hanging out with Akame and Kurome, and learning about imperial arms."

Everyone kind of just looked at me strangely while I walked over towards Akame, why are they making this so awkward? I guess it is my job to break the silence again.

"Whats up Akame you been good? Haven't talked to you in a while, how were the chips?"

While responding in her usual tone and expression she said

"I've been fine, and they were good. Do you have any more with you?"

"Naturally, I have a ton on me."

With that I took a sack on chips out from my stomach behind my back and gave it to her like it was a magic trick, everyone just looked at me even more confused then before and Akame responded while chewing.

"Just don't question it, by the way these taste better then I remember. Did you change something?"

It is kind of ridiculous that this is what we are talking about right now but I also want to brag about my new recipe I made.

"Yeah, I made a new recipe. This has garlic and a few other spices in addition to just salt."

I could see the rest of the group sweatdrop because of our conversation but find someone who cares.

Anyway we probably should get down to business, as I was thinking the brown-haired kid spoke.

"Well Rimuru thank you for helping me back there, who knows what might have happened if you didn't help. By the way my name is Tatsumi, its nice to meet you."

I could tell that the rest of them were about to introduce themselves so I cut them off before I was sitting here listening to introductions for 5 minutes.
