It was that time again, to wake up and get ready for school. I hate school, I hate the people they're jerks and they don't realize it now but being popular in high school will be so different when they go off to college or even waste their lives doing whatever else, but I don't care, I'll always have somebody by my side, my twin sister Aria. She has literally always been there for me and it's kind of difficult to escape when she knows everything about me. Even though we have our own separate rooms we still spend a huge amount of time together, at home and in school. Same classes, same interests. It's hard to ever see us apart, even when we're in the bathroom ...

Aria has completely got everything together, she's always the one to be up first, she's the more stable one out of us both. She's older than me like a couple of minutes, so even though it's not much of a difference, she thinks she's the 'boss' of me if you'd like. Even though I love her I also hate getting told what to do, but I don't mind she's only trying to do what's best for me, if I was her I'd probably do the same.

This time it was me up first for school, Aria had never been last to get up because she's really organized. As I came downstairs I noticed my mom and dad actually talking with no shouting involved, I really hoped they'd work things out, it's really affecting me and Aria and they don't realize it, it's not normal behaviour for a family. Finally Aria came down but there was something different about her, she'd changed her look from a gothic style to a girly style, with no sign of black lipstick. I walked up to her. "What have you done to yourself?" I asked, trying to be as polite as possible.

"Do you not like it? It's different, right?" She replied.

"Yeah it's different alright, but why did you change your style? We're twins, people kind of expect us to look alike." I replied, trying really hard not to offend her.

"Twins can look different, people know we're twins but nobody expects us to look the same apart from yourself." Aria said, really changing her tune.

"Well I thought you were into the whole 'being twins and looking like twins thing?"

"People do change, obviously I can't actually change myself unless I have surgery." She turned to mom.

"No, that's a definite no." Mom said. Aria laughed, I think she was joking however mom didn't see it.

"Okay, I guess you could go to school like that and I'll be in black, as always, because that's how we ALWAYS dress, Aria." I grabbed my coat, a black coat and Aria grabbed a white one, which was actually mom's but I don't think she cares, I think mom was happy atleast one of us wasn't dressing in black. We walked out the door and into the car off to school, oh happy days.

We pulled up into the parking lot, "Stop here, I can't be seen with my mom, nobody likes us enough, but thanks for the ride though, peace." Aria casually said, not even looking at mom as she climbed out of the car. I followed on after her.

"What was that?" I asked, trying to keep up with her walking pace, which almost seemed like running.

"What was what Arna?" She replied, oblivious to the fact she was just sassy to mom.

"THAT! You was a total bitch to mom" And oh dear, I called her a bitch. Boy, was that a mistake.

"I'm a teenager, she expects us to be a bitch to her, you're just too nice." She said, giving advice.

"There's a reason I'm nice. I don't want to end up on the streets this week." I stopped as she carried on walking. Josh, the hottest guy in the planet walked up to me, did I say walked up to? I meant walked into!

"I'm sorry ...?" He apologized

"... Arna ..." I replied, hoping I didn't mess up, I though he was asking for my name, that was a question right?

"Arna. Again I'm sorry, I was texting and didn't see you." He said, he was caring, the first person to notice me, even if it was an accident but at least now he knows my name. I didn't reply, I was too nervous.

"Oh hey, you're the one with the twin right?" He asked, as I nodded his jerk of a friend Alex tapped him on the shoulder and said "Dude, leave it, you've no need to apolagize she walked into you now come on, my girlfriend wants me and you're not leaving me alone with her, she won't stop going on about her 'fabulous' new shoes."

Josh looked at him, I could tell he was sorry I didn't want to look at him for too long, but his eyes, they sparkled like the ocean, a blue colour with a tint of green.

Alex rolled his eyes and just before he finished Josh said "Yeah man, you go on ahead and I'll catch you up after ... After I send this text, I don't want to walk into another girl man, you know." He already sent his text because it beeped with the 'text sent' pop up, I was confused why he wouldn't go.

As Alex walked on ahead to his girlfriend, where they looked like they were eating each others' faces, I couldn't help but wonder why Josh hadn't already disappeared the first chance he got and that was his chance. "Look, about Alex, he means well but he's not the type of guy to apologize for anything, I however am. So I'm sorry about the walking into and Alex, I'll talk to you later. I'm sorry." How many times could he say sorry? And it wasn't just 'sorry' it was a 'I'm sorry' and everybody knows that means more than sorry. He noticed me, a hot, popular guy for once noticed me, Arna, the outcast to the group, the stranger to the world. He also stated that he'd talk to me later? Is that just a way to say goodbye or did he actually mean he would talk to me again?

I walked away from what happened, I wanted to just forget about it, but I couldn't, it was crazy, too crazy and a little unreal. I wanted to find Aria so I could tell her, but then I forgot what happened before, a small arguement which I have to say sorry for. I carried on walking into school and ready for the day to go from good to bad in a second.
