"Please find me."

I harshly rosed up from bed. Sweat trickling down my face and my heart- my heart is pounding hard that I'm almost running out of breath.

"You're far from sleeping soundly, Kyle but waking up is a good start, isn't it?" Kaz is on his bed arranging his duffle. I sighed, relaxing my heart. Just when Major Allan Mitchel barged in the barrack.

"Trackers! When the sun rises, you are all expected to be at beach. The King of the West is arriving later on discreetly, so fill that intestines now, no one's leaving their post when the King arrives." just that, he turned his back.

"The King visiting discreetly? No notice? No propaganda? Bet there's something wrong now, yeah?" Max sat on my bed.

"There's always something wrong everywhere, Maxie." Kaz replied.

Yes, there is. There's definitely something wrong. And for one is on the day the King of Eliona in South barged in with his army into the orphanage. Yelling, hurting all the children that tries to fight back. I didn't understood back then. We were pretty much young to understand the complexity of war and what lies beyond. What I all understand is the pain I felt when I saw them drag Anya out forcibly. She held on to anything that might help her stay. The pain of seeing her tears while crying, yelling out my name.

"Kyle!! Help me!! Find me!!"

And then they were gone. Along with all the children they thought were worthy. Along with Anya. From then on. I promised myself to keep heading North. My True North. Anya.

"Let's eat. I'm starving." I said as I stood up.

"Aye, aye! Lieutenant!" followed Kaz and and Max.

After a few hours of being stationed at beach, the  King of the West and his army came in marching. King Gustavo was in the grandest wagon in the crowd. It was plated all over with gold. His army in blood red steels, arrows and swords. The west has been known to be the center of all trades, which means they are much wealthier than the rest of the nation.

"Show off." Max commented beside me.

"They definitely have something to show off. Let them be, Max." I said as I scouted the marching sea of armory.

They marched past us with an eery thud that sent the dust off squabbling through the air. They only stopped when they reached the front of the Headquarters. The General came out and awaited the King.

" Trackers! Scout the perimeters!" yelled the Sergeant. Max and Kaz went off with the others as I went to the Sergeant himself.

"Shouldn't be our King here?" I asked Mateo.

"I heard our King Aleo isn't well. General Markos seems to be finding it's cure through King Gustavo here. Again, as I've heard. Let's just scout, Lieutenant." Mateo dismissed.

I clearly don't know what's going on. I never did anyway. All information from the King stops at the Genaral. He gives us the commands without really giving out the details on why. We just do what was asked. And live.

If I have to keep heading to True North, I need to know what's going on. I've spent long enough ranking up and if being a Lieutenant still doesn't get me where I need to be, maybe I'm on the wrong direction.
