Wanted: Dead or Alive

5 hours have passed. The room was empty. I just got out of surgery. It's just me and Daniel in the room. Prayers have been said, hopefully answered. Diamond went to get them lunch. Daniel sat real close to the bed with his hand holding mine. "Danny?" I said real quiet. "Why won't you wake up Taylor, please wake up I love you so much. I don't want this to be the end." He said. I turned my head towards him. I slowly opened my eyes. He was starring at my hand. "Danny?" I said a little bit louder. "Danny?!" I said in a regular tone. He looked up fast. "Oh my god. Y-Your alive!" He jumped up and hugged me. I whispered in his ear "I love you too." He kept screaming "Mom! Mom!" He ran out of the room. "Where is Doctor Adams??" He questioned the lady at the front desk. "I'm right here! Why?" She asked. He grabbed her hand and ran back to the room. "She is alive!" He shouted. "Quiet, she is alive but she hasn't woken up or showed any signs of movement." she told him. "Hi Mrs. Adams." I said and waved. "Oh my god, child, this is a miracle." Diamond walked in and sat the food down. "Diamond!!" I said. "What in the name of Grace, she spoke! Ohhhh the Lord answered my prayers." she cried. "So what's wrong with me?" I asked. "You had a fractured rib. You got surgery to fix it. You should be fine just take it easy for a couple of weeks." Doctor Adams explains. "I would be more than happy to help you if you need anything." Daniel kissed my hand. "Thanks." I replied. "Your free to leave tomorrow morning." she told me. "Morning?? If I'm fine why can't I leave tonight?" I asked. "To make sure your alright. You can leave first thing in the morning." She told me. "okay." I said quietly. I took a nap. "Hey mom, remember you said you would do anything for me." Daniel asked. "What do you want and how much will it cost?" She asked. "Just a couple hundred to go buy her some stuff. C'mon mom please, I feel really bad." "Fine. Fine. Just go away and let me work for God's sake." "Thanks mom." he kissed her cheek and walked away.
