Chico's

We talked a lot on the way there. When he parked we got out of the car and walked inside. "Taylor, John, long time no see!" Chico said. "Hey Chico, Buzz in?" John asked. "Well do and hope you two stay after." Chico said to the both of us. "We will." I laughed. I had my hands my side. John tried to hold my hand but I moved my hands. We walked over to the card counter, my cousin wasn't there. "Hey Taylor, Hey John, the usual?" Elle asked. "The usual.. Where's Nick?" I asked. She handed us our cards and pointed at the concession stand. I laughed. "You're kidding?" I asked funny. "Nope." she laughed. We walked over and I said in an accent, "Uhm excuse me, I need to get a pepperoni pizza with 2 Dr. Peppers." "Uh su- Taylor?!" He shrieked. "So you and Kaitlyn are an item?" I laughed. "Well we went on a date Wednesday and we have been going out ever since." he said, "Do you really want that stuff?" I looked at him. "On it." "Just call my name when it's ready." John said. "Alright." Nick said. We walked to a table in the far corner. We sat down and a little bit of awkwardness filled the air. "So, uh, what did you want to talk to be about?" I asked. "Well what was up with Daniel?" John asked. "John!" Screamed Nick. He got up, got our food and came back. "Uhm, I don't know. He was there one moment and gone the next." I told him. "Hm?" He hummed. "Uhm you asked me what was up with Daniel...." I said then took a drink. "Oh. That's right. Well I'm sorry about that. To make it better I'm here for you." He looked at me and grabbed my hand. I was confused. "Uh do you want to go do something or?" I asked while moving my hand. "We could go play laser tag.?" He said awkwardly. "Sounds fun." I slid out of my booth side and waited for him. When he got up, he put his arm around my shoulder and we walked to the laser tag. We didn't notice but walked in was Daniel and Jessica. They got there cards and walked to laser tag. "Yo, JoJo. Can I put my bag in here?" I asked. "Hey, sure thing pip squeak." JoJo said. "Guard that bag with your LIFE!" I told him. "I will." It was dark and I loved the black lights. Since I was wearing white shorts I was noticeable. But I kick ass in laser tag. "GAMERS ENTER." said a deep electronic voice. We walked in and walked into the arena. We separated, and when the game started I went to go find him but I grabbed the wrong boy. "Jessica we are suppose to be gaming." Daniel shouted. "Jessica?! John what are you talking about?" I shouted. "John? I'm Daniel. Jess did you hit your head?" He shouted. "No, I'm not Jessica. My mistake sorry!" I shouted. I walked away. I didn't know that was. It was really loud and dark. I eventually found him, or should I say he found me. He grabbed my hand. "John?" I yelled. "Yeah!" He shouted. "Oka-" I began to yell but then he kissed me. I opened my eyes and I shot to guys. Then we were on the floor. He shot a few guys and I was on top of him. I shot any one who came our way. "GAME OVER!" Said the voice. We walked out of there. John put my stuff back and I grabbed my bag. We walked out of there and we were being followed. "Do you think that's them?" Jessica asked. "Well uh, her name is on her bag and this is her place so I'm sure." Daniel said approaching us. Daniel ran into us pulling Jessica along. "Oh I am so sor-.. Hey guys funny running into you, you guys should try laser tag it is so much fun." Daniel said. "Uhm we just got out but okay." John told them. "Yeah we just finished a game." I said. "Our first place champ." John lifted me up. "Later!" I said as we went farther away. "This plan is stupid. It isn't working." Jessica hissed. "Trust me she is going to fall into my trap." Daniel spoke his evil remark. They walked away. "What was th-" "I honestly don't know." I cut him off. "How did you know I was going to ask that?" He asked. "Because I know you. We were best friends since the play pin and we dated for 3 and 1/2 years." I explained. We played and ate some more. We stayed after for awhile then we left. John dropped me off and walked me to my door. Daniel stalked us, he was outside watching us. "Thanks. I had a lot of fun." I looked up to him. "Same and I'm glad we talked things out." He hugged me and walked away. I waved bye as he started the car and I went inside. Best date ever... in a long time.
