Along came kally Chapter 1 New girl

*Carl's PoV*

A bright light awakened me as I silently slept. I squinted, my hand automatically going up over my eyes . "Carl....Carl Come on"my dad told me holding Judith. I nodded as he exited my cell I stretched and yawned my feet shuffling to the cardboard box that held my clothes. I put on some black jeans,a plain white tee, a grey flannel and my brown rock climbing boots. My toes ached as I walked through the prison towards the courtyard outside "man I'm gonna have to get new shoes"I mumbled . "I'll get some, goin on a run " michonne said . "Thanks "i smiled up at her . I liked michonne she's awesome when you get to know her. My dad was racking the soil planting seeds every so often. "Hey dad"
"Hey"
"People need more help on the fences today I was thinking we could help them". He took my gun off me and said that I needed to act like a ' Normal child' . I mentally snickered to myself.yeah right.
"I have plans"he said filly the bucket with grass and worms.
"Well maybe I could help"
"I meant we have plans , guve this to the pigs".
I grumbled okay then walked up to violet. Michonne walked over saddling up the horse,firecracker ready for her run . "Come back safe" . "Always do" she smiled earning one back from me . I carried on through the day.

A whistle pulled me out of me thoughts. I heard hooves pounding on the ground .i ran towards the gates dad following close behind. The horse came into view with michonne on the back but someone else was too. I shut the gate and ran towards her and the mysterious person. A girl with dark brown hair and striking blue eyes stared at me. Michonne and the girl jumped of the horse. "Who are you?"dad asks the girl . "Kallyana rodgriuez but everyone calls me kally" she said a heavy accent. I glared at her "were you from?" Dad questions curiously taking the words out of my mouth. "Italy I moved to Georgia when I was 9". He turned towards michonne "have you asked her the questions?" She nodded In Response.
"I'm Rick ,that carl you'll be sharing a cell with him" pointing at me. I scold at him .
"no she's not , no ones staying in my cell" I retorted .
"We're not arguing about it"he told me sternly .
"Fine".
"Show her around" .
"Okay,come on then hurry up"I shouted at her.
"Okay"she said happily I rolled my eyes at how enthusiastic she was. "It's really beautiful here "she said looking around I just shrugged . After showing her around I stormed to my cell to find her sitting there on the top bunk reading comics. I was surprised she doesn't seem like the type to read comics . "What Ya reading?"
"Comics you read?"she questions. I nod she jumps down off her bed and pulls open her backpack inside was an even bigger selection than mine inside. I gaped at them she just laughed before handing me them "knock your self out" .
"Awesome" .
"We could put are collections together read each other's" she suggested. I looked up and smiled before nodding . "Cool well I should get to bed night Carl" . "Night ". I read until my eyes became heavy . She actually has a pretty cool collection. I turn my torch off and shrunk down into my comforter and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning I went to see my girlfriend Lizzie. I walked into cell block d towards her cell I came to an abrupt stop when I heard familiar voices and moaning. I opened the bars and to my disgust Lizzie(A/N I know Lizzie is younger that carl but imagine she's the same age) and Patrick were sucking each others faces and neck . Anger and hurt ran through my body how could my best friend do that to me. "What the hell is this"I shouted they immediately pulled apart "I-I'm sor-ry this wa-asnt supposed to ha-ppen"she uttered out . I looked at them both with disgust ." Both of you stay the hell away from me and you and me are finished" with that I stormed out tears nearly spilling . I sat down on my bed and cried .How could I be so stupid?A warm hand on my cheek pulled me out of my thoughts I looked up to see kally smiling down sadly at me. "Are you okay?"she asked concerned her accent more stronger than yesterday because she just woke up. I started crying again she wrapped her arm around me . Her touch coming into contact with my skin felt like electric shocks. I leant into her putting my head on her shoulder. After a couple of minutes I calmed down, I Lifted my head of her shoulder and wiped my eyes. "Are you okay now?" I nodded in response. "I'll be back soon" I didn't even wait for a reply I just walked out of my cell. Carl grimes doesn't cry.EVER. I went to see Judith In Beth's cell. I picked her up out of her cot and held her close kissing her head. My thoughts drifted to my mum . My chest ached instantly my mum screwed up but I still love her. Judith was the only thing I had left of my mum and I promised to Protect her......and I plan on keeping that promise.

Kallys PoV

I gathered some clothes together and made my way to the shower rooms that carl showed me yesterday. Something about him makes me crazy not to mention he's incredibly cute . Wait what?i shook my head and carried on down the cold corridors . In my world everything has a bright side. When I reached the shower rooms I flipped the switch the cold water running over my body . I scrubbed my hair with the little shampoo that was left, my finger nails stabbing into my scalp. The grime and blood ran down the drain . After I dried my body I slipped on my black ripped skinny jeans , flowery crop top , black leather jacket and my black combat boots. I French braided my long dark hair adding a very small amount of mascara ;that I found on the run at the start of this shit, over my striking blue eyes. When I was finished i buckled up my holster placing my gun and throwing knives into it lasting putting my katana sword on my back. Walking out into the common room I was greeted by kind smiles and a chorus of 'hi' and 'hellos'. I sat down next to Beth "hi Beth"I smiled at her.
"Hi"her country accent was thick
"Could I help you with judy today I've got nothing to do"
"Of course just let me finish my breakfast"
I nodded eating mine also. When We were both done we walked to her cell to collect judy when we saw carl .Carl stood holding his sister placing kisses on her head. The sight warmed my heart and I couldn't help but let out an "aw that's cute"I smiled at them both. His head snapped up glaring at both of us he quickly gave Judith to Beth before storming out shoving me out the way with his shoulder. I stood there shocked what happened? This morning he was letting me comfort him now he's shoving me out the way . Wow okay. Beth must have noticed my shocked expression because she spoke up "he's always like that don't worry"she said
I nodded "he was fine this morning"
"Just give him time"
"Ok"
The rest of the day I helped Beth with Judith it was nice to have some 'girl time'.
