Description: Draco is walking through the forest when he comes across a hut. What happens then?

✨✨✨

Draco walked through the colorful forest, leaves of brown, red, yellow, and orange falling at his feet. His footsteps echoed through the otherwise silent forest, all animals huddled away into their homes because of the cold. He himself was wearing a thick coat to keep warm.

Draco walked for what seemed like hours before he reached the place he was looking for: a hut. It wasn't a small hut, like the ones people would think of when they heard the word hut. It was his family's hut, and the Malfoys had lots of money to spare. It had four rooms; a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. He strolled up to the big wooden door and knocked with his knuckles. His hand shook a little from the cold. He waited for a few moments, shivering, until the door opened.

"Hermione," he panted, stepping in.

"What took you so long?" Hermione Granger asked. She took his coat and put it on the coat rack in the corner of the room. He took off his hat and dropped it under Hermione and his coats.

He didn't answer her, just walked close and kissed her. She melted into the kiss and forgot about the question she had asked.

Draco pulled back and cupped her face in his hands. She looked back at him lovingly. "Would you like some hot chocolate?"

"Yes, please." Draco loved the hot chocolate that his girlfriend made, it was like love in a cup. Hermione walked into the kitchen as Draco went to sit on a couch in the living room.

Hermione poured a cup of hot chocolate and added five mini marshmallows on top. For nineteen years, Draco had never had hot chocolate, as it wasn't a Wizard thing. But when they had started dating, Hermione had introduced him to the hot drink and he had fallen in love with it (he loved it more than her, she joked sometimes).

She sauntered back into the living room and handed Draco his cup. He took it gratefully and sipped. He sighed as Hermione sat in the comfy chair across from him.

There was a fireplace on the wall, sitting cold with ashes. Hermione took out her wand from the pocket of her sweater and pointed it at the fireplace. Incendio. A fire came roaring to life, almost hitting the top of the brick. She then pointed her wand at the open door of the bedroom, which was just behind her. Accio blankets. Two blankets came whizzing towards her. She caught them in her free hand and threw one at Draco.

He wasn't expecting it, and it hit the side of his mug, knocking a bit of hot chocolate out of the cup and onto his lap.

"What was that for?" he said, taking out his wand. Hermione laughed pointing her wand at the hot chocolate that spilled. Scourgify. The drink disappeared from his lap.

Suddenly, bits of hot sparks fell out of the fireplace and onto the rug that was in the middle of both their chairs. And then more sparks. Soon, there was a hole in the rug.

"What the-?" Draco exclaimed. "That was my mother's!"

"Don't worry, love," Hermione reassured him. "We can fix it." Reparo.

Then there were sounds from the kitchen. Hermione got up, dropping her blanket on her chair. She gripped her wand tightly as she walked into the kitchen. The cupboards were opening and closing, the doors slamming hard. Draco followed her soon after, his cup of hot chocolate still in his hand.

"What is going on?" he demanded. "Is this place haunted or something?"

"Draco, we went to school with ghosts," Hermione pointed out.

Draco's face scrunched up in confusion. "What's that got to do with anything?"

"You asked if this place was haunted."

"Ghosts don't haunt places. Dark magic does."

It was then Hermione's turn to be confused. "What? In the Muggle world, ghosts haunt houses. Well, in books at least."

"Weird!"

"Well, there we go," Hermione announced. She had done a spell around the hut to get rid of any Dark magic. "I'll put some protective charms around the hut so that no spells or curses can get in."

"Awesome," Draco replied. "Why did this place have Dark magic in the first place?"

"Wasn't this your family's hut before?"

"Oh, yeah. That explains it."
