I opened my eyes groaning, so bothered from the light that came through my window. I sniffed as some very delicious smell caught my attention, I looked behind over my shoulder and Alycia wasn't in her spot anymore.
I smile to myself remembering she came here to spend her birthday with me, having her around makes me feel so safe and happy.
I stood up quickly making my wait to the bathroom to brush my teeth, once I was finished I walked to the kitchen.
There she was picking up plates from the kitchen rack, I smiled as she turned around and saw me there looking at her with my arms crossed in chest.
"Well good morning" She said with a smile.
"Good morning, what's... all of this?" I asked once I took a step into to take a seat on the isle.
"Breakfast"
"I know that silly, you didn't have to do this by the way" She rolled her eyes.
"I wanted to" She placed a plate in front of me.
"Thanks" I said as she sat next to me.
"Thanks" She mumbled. I looked up to her. "For yesterday, honestly my friends would've throw me a whole party, I would have just enjoyed a small thing with a movie and sweet company like we did and thanks because that was exactly what I wanted for me" I felt my cheeks heated up. I chuckled.
"In that case thanks to you for coming here and pick me" She smiled, she lifted her hand and removed a piece of hair off my face, she moved her fingers in my cheek, I felt her slowly leaning in, my heartbeat increased at the sudden movement, her whole hand was placed in my cheek, our faces were inches away, I leaned in her touch closing my eyes when the bell started ringing.
I pulled away in a jump, I cleared my throat. "I— I'm sorry I gotta get that" I swallowed standing up. I heard her deep and annoyed sigh.
"Miss Y/L/N?" I nodded. "I have a deliver from you" The guy in front of me handed me a package. "It's the 5th this week"
I giggled. "Got addicted to online shopping sir, since is not very safe for us to go out now, you know covid"
"I know, we'll enjoy your online shopping Miss" I sighed.
"Thanks" I closed the door and placed the package on the coffee table. I returned to the kitchen and noticed she wasn't there. I walked to my room and she was sitting in my bed, all dressed up now.
I cleared my throat. "I should go now, I have some paperwork to finish and some meeting tomorrow so I have to plan some things out" She spoke.
"You work even in lockdown?" I asked sitting behind her in my bed.
"From home yes, we have zoom meetings and zoom stuff" She replied.
"Okay" I sighed.
"I'll text you and we can talk in the night" She said standing up. "Eat" She kissed my head and traced her fingers from my cheek to my chin lifting it a little so my eyes were now looking at her.
I blushed, every touch makes my heart go crazy. "I will" She smiled and grabbed her things and walked out of my room.
I rested myself in the bed sighing. I don't wanna get my hopes up but every action is so soft and kind and seems like she does feel as I do but how can you tell for sure? Maybe she's too friendly and I'm here interpreting things into stuff that would never happen.
