I step into the airport and I go and check in with the airline, JetBlue. The line to check in isn't too bad. About 5 minutes later I reach the front of the line. The worker greets me by saying, "Hi how can I help you?" "Hi I just need to drop these bags off to put them on the plane." "Ok let me see your boarding pass." "I hand her my pass." She types something into her computer and then these tags print out. She attaches them to my bags and then puts them on a conveyor belt behind her and hands me my boarding pass and then says "Have a nice flight." "Thanks."

I walk out of the line and head towards security. When I get there the line is pretty long. 10 minutes pass and I make it to the front. The TSA officer asks for my boarding pass I hand it to him and he checks it to make sure it's not a fake. He then hands it back and directs me to where I get my shoes and my carry on bag gets checked, even though I don't really need directing. I then head down there I grab a bin and I put my carry on bag and I take off my boots and throw then in there. I put the bin on the conveyor belt to get checked then I go in line to go through the sensor. Once I'm at the front I give the officer my boarding pass and I walk through the sensor when I'm motioned to go. And I'm handed back my boarding pass and I go walk to the end of the conveyor belt to pick up my stuff. I find my bin and I take my bag and swing it over my shoulder and I grab my boots. I find a bench to sit and put my boots on and then I'm off.

I don't even need to look at my boarding pass to know where I'm going. I head towards the direction of my gate. It's a good 5 to 10 minute walk to get there. I finally arrive to my gate, gate 52. I find a seat and just look on my phone because I know it will be awhile before I board my plane.

About 45 minutes later they start boarding. I put my phone away and grab my bag. I wait until they call my zone and I swing my bag over my shoulder and head in line to board the plane. Once I get to the front I hand the worker my boarding pass and she scans it. I the walk down the hallway to go get on the plane.

When I get on the flight attendants welcome me aboard. I walk down the aisle and find my seat. I sit down, buckle my seat belt, grab my phone and headphones, and I put my bag under the seat. Then A woman comes and sits down on the aisle seat. About 20 minutes pass and everyone is aboard and then the plane starts to move. The pilot comes on the intercom and welcomes every one aboard and estimates how long the flight will take and after all that the plane safety video comes on the tv screen on the back of the seat in front of me, which lasts 5 minutes. Then the plane starts to move. We turn on to the run way and the plane speeds up and we take off. I look out the window and see my hometown and get a good last glimpse of it because I won't be able to see it in awhile. I sigh to myself I know I will miss it.

After awhile I decide to watch a movie on the tv. I chose to watch The Book Thief. Then the flight attendants come around and take food and drink orders. I order a water and some cookies. I eat my cookies as I watch the movie.

After I finish my movie I have finished my cookies and water and soon it is time to land. The pilot comes on and says we will be landing in 20 minutes and that the flight attendants will come around and collect garbage. When the flight attendants comes to my row I dump my trash in the bag she is holding.

Now I can see out the window and I can see mountains , but they look different than any mountains I've seen before. They look like they are made out of sand they are really beautiful. I can see the highway below me and buildings. Then we start to fly over the bay I never realized how big it is.

The plane speeds up and we start moving towards the ground it almost looks like we are going to land in the bay. But then we touch the runway and we start to slow down and we are only moving a little now. Then the plane stops and the lights come on. The pilot comes on again and wishes us a safe trip. I look out the window one last time. It's so weird here it's only 5 here now and also it looks so different from what I'm used too.
I unbuckle my seat belt, I grab my bag and swig it over my shoulder and wait to get off the plane.

I step into the aisle and walk down it and step of the plane and walk down the hallway. I get out of the hallway and I head to baggage claim with out any directions because I know where I'm going. It's a pretty long walk.

Once I get there I wait for the bags to start unloading. Once they start unloading my suit case was the first bag out, which never happens, and I walk towards it and grab it off the conveyor belt.

I know I have a chauffeur so I go find him. I find my chauffeur, a tall slim man dressed in a black suit. I walk over to him I say " Hi." He looks up "Hi you must be Cora." "Yep that's me." " I'm Jeff Miss Harrington's School for Special Girls chauffeur." He says in a fancy voice. I laugh. "Follow me I parked the limo just outside." I follow him outside on a side walk up some stairs. "I can take your suit case." Says Jeff "Ok" I hand him the suit case and he drags it up the stairs and then we get into the parking lot and Jeff unlocks the limo. The limo is like a mini limo that looks kind of like car. He opens the trunk and puts my suit case in the back and shuts the trunk. He opens the back door for me and I thank him. I sit down and place my bag next to me and buckle up. Jeff gets in the mini limo and starts it he then backs up.

He then turns out of the parking lot. He says "You probably figured this out already but it will be a 30 minute ride." "Yea I knew." "So Cora where are you from?" He says " Myrtle Beach." "Cool, so your from the east coast." "Yup." " So have you ever been in California before?" "No." "Really?" "Yea." "Well from what it seems like people adjust pretty quickly to San Fran, so you'll do fine."
The rest of the car ride we don't speak and I just listen to my head phones.

The mini limo turns into a driveway and a black metal gate opens and the limo pulls into the driveway. We have arrived.
