"Who is he?" Mom said and pointed her finger at Draken.
"uh...he's my friend." I said with a nervous laugh.
"He came all the way here to drop you. Awww such a gentleman. Y/N invite him for the dinner. That's the least we can do." She said.
I waved at him and called out his name," DRAKEN COME HERE!! MOM WANTS TO MEET YOU."
He walked his way and greeted my mom and bowed." Good Evening, Mrs. L/N."
"Very good evening, I didn't catch your name." She added and smiled at him.
"I'm Ryuguji Ken. My friends call me Draken." He answered politely.
"Are you her boyfriend? She never brings guys at home" My mom said and teasingly elbowed my arm.
"NO MOM IT'S NOT LIKE THAT," I said and turned my face on the other side in embarrassment.
"I'm sorry Mrs. L/N, you're mistaken. We are not dating." Draken said while rubbing the back of his head and blushed.
"Oh, how rude of me, come in. Dinner is almost ready." She invited him.
"Yeah, you should join us, it's the least I could do to thank you," I added.
" I'm so sorry. But I have to go somewhere. I can join some other day." He rain-checked the plan.
"It's okay. Bye, be safe." My mom said and entered our house. Now, it was me and him only.
"umm Y/N, can I have your number." He asked but didn't make eye contact with me.
This was the first time he called me by my name.
" I'll text you tomorrow, so we can hang out more. I want to know more about you." He said.
This time around, our eyes met each other. He rested his hand on my shoulder.
"You can thank me like that" he laughed.
"Yeah sure. Give me your phone.
" I saved my number on his phone.
" Thank you for the ride," I said and he smiled at me.
"Bye Bye. See you tomorrow." He said and left.
I locked the door quickly and leaned my back. My face was all red. My heart was beating so fast and loud. This guy affects me a lot.
"You like him right?" My mom asked with a teasing smile.
"Eh... it's not like that. I just met him a day ago. I don't like him" I said.
"Don't lie to yourself, honey. Tell me about it. How you met him, what he's like, EVERYTHING." My mom said in an extremely excited tone.
"Some other day. Please." I requested.
"Okay, your loss." She pouted.
" I thought we will have some fun but it's ok. Whenever you are comfortable." She added.
*Alarm Buzzing*
Ugh, I hate school. The only thing I hate about being back in the past is waking up so early and being treated like a child even though I'm 26 inside this 14-year-old body.
I finally got up from my cozy bed, got dressed for school, and went downstairs to eat.
