Chapter 2 - Reunited

Lucas pov-

I was reading my astronomy book, when all of the sudden Guila appeared out of no where. She was angry and out of no where so did Bri. She was more calm then Guila thats for sure.

"Luca, you are coming with us to Portarosso." She said firmly.

"But-" I started, but she interrupted.

"No buts!" She screamed. "I have been watching you and Alberto grow apart all these years and I have had enough. Every school year I watch you sit and be depressed thinking about Alberto. Then when I go back to Portarosso, Alberto says he does not care that you are gone, but deep down inside he never stops thinking about you and I've seen it. So you are coming and besides you have no choice because my mom is done letting you stay here and I already bought your ticket and shipped most of your stuff to town. Also your parents bought a house so yeah." She said, walking out if my room.

Oh no no no... this is bad really bad. Albertos gonna hate me.

I packed my stuff and got in bed.

The next morning Guila started throwing my stuff into the car as I brushed my teeth and ate breakfast.

When we made it to the train station, we got on and headed on the 30 minutes train back to Portarosso. My heart pounded out of my chest. I have never been more nervous in my life.

Once we got there we all got out. No one was there besides Massimo. I guess Alberto really did give up on seeing me.

I went to my parents house and dropped my stuff off. Then I headed towards Guilas house, only to be stopped by the sound of someone familiar.

Alberto, it was, Alberto. He had a life guard suit on and was helping kids around the beach. Wow oh wow he was tall and handsome to. He was muscular. I think I'm no no no no.... I am not in love.

I ran to Guilas house.

"Guila help, Alberto is on his way home." I screamed.

Guila kept snickering to Bri.

"Gulia, this is no time for jokes. What if Alberto hates me or never wants to see me again. What if thinks I betrayed him. Oh no no no." I panicked.

Guilas pov-

While Luca was talking I noticed Alberto standing in the door way. I snickered to Bri telling her to look. While Luca panicked, I watched as tears fell from Albertos eyes. When Alberto finally looked up at me I told him to come over.

Lucas pov-

After a few miner panics. I looked at Guila who was smiling widely.

I ran outside and scrambled to the corner of the gate so I hoped Alberto would not see me.

I herd a chuckle.

"Ahhh" I shouted then covered my mouth.

" Luca is that you." I herd a voice say from behind the door of Guilas house.

I know that voice...  thats.... thats.. Albertos voice!

He was standing next to the door way with tears in his eyes and a grin on his face.

"Alberto!" I shouted running over to him.

I clung onto him with all the power I had in me. Surprised he did not fall over.

He held  me up in the air and then set me down still holding onto my waist.

I broke down. I balled my eyes out, while he looked at me. He pulled me into his chest as I balled my eyes out.

"I am so s-sorry A-Alberto, I never wan-wanted to leave y-you or stop t-talking." I cried. "I missed you so much, and i-i understand if y-you hate me." I said.

He tightend his arms around me gently.

"Luca, I could never hate you and I'm not mad at you and I'm so happy you are back." He explained.

"Really, so your not mad" I looked up at him confused.

"Of course not" he chuckled.

We sat there enjoying each other's company for 15 minutes. Until I felt my eyes getting droopy. I then realized how warm he was. And I drifted off to sleep in his arms.

Albertos pov-

I look down to see Luca fell asleep on me. I took my hoodie off and put it on him. It was kinda chilly out and I was not letting him get cold.

I brought him upstairs and set him in my bed. I got up and put a shirt on. I then covered him up and kissed his forehead.

"Goodnight dolcezza" I said.
