Dawn's POV:

"Hey Leslie. What's up?" I answered my ringing phone to my best friend that was currently hyperventilating.

"DID YOU HEAR WHAT IS GOING AROUND SCHOOL ABOUT YOU- KNOW- WHO?!?!?" Leslie replies, yelling into the phone.

Cursing, I slightly pull the phone away from my ear. "No Leslie. I haven't. Enlighten me please."

"Okay. So apparently Tyler has been hooking up with Skyleigh behind the bleachers.! I heard from Katherine that Troy was looking for Skyleigh after the football game and a mysterious someone hinted to where they might be. When he walked up, he saw them feeling each other up! I know. It sounds like something totally pulled right out Mean Girls right?"

I sighed. This is really not something that you want to hear on a day like this. My report card came in and I am currently trying to hide the horrendous grades that I am making from my mother. Having to know that the guy you have practically loved since sixth grade is hooking up with the girl you absolutely loathes puts the cherry on top.

"That sounds extremely scandalous Les. What did Troy do when he found them?"

She laughed sooooo hard that I could practically hear her rolling on the floor. When she finally sobered up, she said, "Let's just say that Mr.Pretty-Boy is not so pretty at the moment."

I felt really happy. I mean who would really care enough about something that much that they would practically ruin a relationship? Even if it was just a hump-and-dump sort of thing. I would've done it but I figured out a long time ago that he doesn't like me. I mean who would? I'm not the most attractive person in the world.

I wonder who gave that tip anyways....

"Me." Leslie spoke, startling me from my thoughts.

Did I really say that out loud? "W-what??" I stuttered.

"I gave Troy the anonymous hint. I figured if the hump-and-dump thing that Tyler and Skyleigh had going on stopped then you might get a chance with him."

Leslie is very notorious for trying to help people in their love lives. I love her and all, but when it comes to things like this, I've gotta draw the line. "Leslie, how many times do I have to tell you to stop trying to ruin his love life?!"

"But-" she started but I cut her off.

" Leslie, I have told you before that if he likes me then he will ask me out! But that will NEVER happen because he DOESN'T LIKE ME!!!" I wasn't mad, I was just trying to make a point. And rant. She is the only one who actually loves me enough to put up with it.

What am I going to do now? I feel like it is my fault. I want him to be happy because I am his friend, but of course I can't help but to feel jealous. I mean, come on. I've liked him for like 5 years now!

It's beginning to be a bit ridiculous now, but hey, it's high school. Full of sex, drama, and lies.And school has just started up from summer break.

This year is going to definitely be A LOT of fun.
