rain

the moment i saw him

 i groggily sat up in bed it was morning it had been about a month since i had seen cloud boy and since i had used my powers on Jan and her little group knowing i could not avoid school any longer the  fuss about my powers had cooled down everyone just assumed the girls where on drugs and the government wasn't trying to cut me open anymore . i mean sure i got the occasional death threat or call from some science lab asking me to donate my body for the "good of humanity and science" and blah blah blah  but i mean other than those small details life was going good for me i had gotten myself a Small apartment near the school and was to start classes again today anticipation and anxiety flowed through my veins. i walked briskly out of my apartment and out onto the street i planned on taking the bus today and i needed to be there early i ran down the road as the smells of my familiar home filled my senses with comfort . but i still had this feeling in my gut that something big was going to happen today . as i  was pondering life's many questions and staring off into space i was startled by the steam of the bus as the doors opened i quickly hopped up the steps and worried ..... would my friends still be there for me ..... they hadn't contacted me in a month so i figured that their parents didn't want for them to be associated with me anymore but the realization didn't really hurt me that much i meant most people would have bawled their eyes out at the thought of losing their only friends but not me . my moment of realization was calming but i didn't know why . the bus was now bustling down main street and i knew wed arrive briefly so i got all my belongings together and prepared to face what was ahead of me . i headed off the bus and as soon as i put one foot on the pavement i  got an icy chill up my spine . the moment i saw him i knew it it was cloud boy ...... those eyes that hair it had to be him. he saw me and his beautiful red lips moved into a smirk.

"hey rainbow" he called out to me

"hey cloud boy" i tentatively called back

i slowly started walking towards him as he leaned on the side of an impressive looking car i had no idea what type tho.. cars just really aren't my thing. as i was walking toward him questions began popping into my head such as  WHAT ARE YOU DOING ? and WHAT WILL YOU ASK HIM? the truth was i had no idea what i was going to ask him i was planning on going up to him saying the first thing that popped into my head and hopping it wasn't embarrassing. so that's what i did.

"how can you fly" i asked him

nice i walk up on thiss other totally completely hot guy and the only thing i can think of is how can u fly !

"i think the real question here is how can you fly my dear rainbow"he said

"my names not rainbow its rain, and honestly i think we both know how we can fly and I'm not your dear"i growled back

he put his hand over his heart and feigned injury" you wound me rain " he said in the most ridiculously dramatic way

it made me want to laugh and punch him at the same time but i was shure he wasn't too pleased with being called cloud boy either . i pondered what his name might possibly be ... then i had a "duh" moment and decided on asking him

" so cloud boy whats Ur name" i asked putting a hand on my hip

"sky" he said and with that sky smiled and his pearly white teeth shined so much i swore i needed sun glasses man people should put a warning label on those babies WARNING BEWARE SUPER BLINDING TEETH.  but i guess that would have taken away from the shear beauty that was his face . now that i was close enough to get a good look at him my eyes seemed to be trapped on him those blue eyes that dark shaggy hair his tall fit frame ,NO WONDER HE CAUGHT MY EYE IN THE CLOUDS!
