narrator : this a few months after the first day
Tobio's pov :
It had been a long day . I was on my way home when I got a call from my dad.
I already was sad because of bad test scores so I was happy that my father called .
Both my mom and dad work overseas . I was really excited because when he calls it is usually to say that mom and him are coming back to see us but that's where I was wrong.
" to- tobio " I hear my dad sobbing
" dad ???" I asked confused
" tobio" I ignore his calls . I hear a faint ambulance siren . I panic .
" DAD WHAT HAPPENED?" i scream
" uh hello this is from ***** hospital . I suppose you are mr.kageyama's son . We are so sorry to inform you but your mom is gotten into a serious car accident and she does not seem to be breathing "
I was shocked , a moment before my heart was beating faster than ever and now it felt like it had stopped .
" she is dead ? " I asked just to confirm
" yes I am really sorry "
" I-thank you for informing " I said . I was standing alone in the middle of the streets ,last five minutes were too fast to even process .
Beep ...beep ...beep
The call ended . I ran and ran, my heart was beating so fast .
I finally stop near the lake and sat down .
I take out my book
Today my mom died . I want to cry after all she is my mom but my tears wont come . I guess it isnt as sad that I cant handle . She was always working and I wasn't close to my mom so, I guess that explains it .
I close my dairy and stand up and start walking . I wanted to distract myself . I start walking towards the new cafe . While I was on my way to the cafe . I saw a couple kissing to be exact tsukishima and other guy from nekoma I guess . I feel a pang in my chest to be exact jealousy but jealous of what .

I reach the new cafe .
I enter it.
" hi sir what can I get for you . "
"Can I have a cookies and cream frappuccino and a strawberry shortcake "
After paying for my food .I look around for a place to sit that's where I find someone wearing a nekoma Jersey.
"Uh hi can i sit here as there is no place i can sit ."
" uh ok you can "he said as he put his head up .
He had blonde hair . His eyes looked like he had cried all day .
" uh hey I am kageyama from karasuno "
I started with a brief introduction because I dont know if he is in the mood to talk . I just want to give him space .
" oh yeah I am kenma from nekoma . Dont mind me I just had a bad day "
" uh if you dont mind me asking why were you crying "
"Uh oh i just i wont hurt to tell you. So you see I was on my way to meet kuroo for a hangout but when I went to knock on his door his mom opened and said that he has went out . I was surprised so I decide to wait inside the cafe and the contact him . As in I was about to contact him . I see him with another guy kissing him . I think his name is tsukishima. And the worst part about this is that I have a crush on kuroo and I was about to confess to him . But here I am , a crying mess " .
"Oh.... wow " I was shocked so his name is kuroo . I looked down as I had a sudden urge to cry
"What brought you here . You look like you will cry yourself "
I shot my head up and being nervous I said " oh I got a call from a hospital saying my mom died " I laughed . Obviously I could not do anything
" hmmm mhm .. I mean you cant blame yourself for it " he laughed
"Ya I mean I cant just magically bring her back . I am not a god " I laughed feeling a bit relieved .
" hey kenma how do tell if you have a crush on someone "
" uh oh why do you ask "
"Uh oh I just wanted to know i guess "

* time skip *
I reached home after I was done talking to that guy . I reached out to my key and opened the door . The whole house was dark . I turned on the light and stared at the note written in miwa's handwriting
Dear tobio
As you know about the accident I will start living with our dad . Dont worry about money I will give it you every
Enough for one person to live for a month .hope you understand.
I read thru those words again and again . Yes ofcoarse you are going to leave me like every does
I took out my diary
Dear dairy this is my second entry
Things i got to know :
1. Tsukishima is dating kuroo
2. Kenma likes kuroo
3. I may like tsukishima
4. I am lonely again .
I close the diary and try to sleep hoping my days get a little bit better . I know it's not happening but at least I can hope to .
