All Sally did after the hospital was sit in her room. She ignored all, even the sensation of being watched, even the phone and the door. She was in a dishevelled state, and she had grown thin, weak and disgusting. Once a knock on the door had come through the house, but it was unheard by the girl who had fallen into depression. A faint music twinkled through the neglected house, giving the dusty and grimy area a feeling of horror. Another faint sound of floorboards creaking emanated through the walls and many rooms. A putrid scent of sadness wafted through the building, sparking wires hanging from the ceiling. The windows were in a state of distress, warped, frosted and cracked making it implausible to be able to see through them. A faint pitter patter of water falling on the splintering floorboards resounded through an empty room, the only thing in it, the broken Sally Acachalla.
Johnny Toast carefully made his way up the cracked pavestones to the now nearly abandoned Acahalla household. The water from the mist this morning made the stepping stones incredibly slippery, and he had already had a bad day as it was. He sighed. Not going well for anybody, especially Sally. He had heard reports on the news about it being a now haunted place, so he was going to check it out. No light shone through the windows, and the once chaos full home seemed deathly quiet. The door was unlocked and falling off of it's hinges, broken items littered everywhere. It truly looked haunted. He then noticed the twinkling sound of a music box drifting through the eerie air. (I put the song on the media, it should be on the top.) He pushed the door closed, and it gave a disgusting sounding creak. The quick jingly tune rang into his ears, and the floor felt like it would give way underneath him. A faint whisper of wind could be heard through the door, and a real whisper was heard from the next floor. Wow, creepy. I don't think it's haunted though. I've heard of a thing called depression... Thought Toast as he inched towards the steps.
