3: The Surprise

Adrien took Marinette to the river Sein.
M: "Adrien, where are we going? Where is my surprise you promised? I don't understand anything Adrien..."
A: "You'll see, oh look André is here! Let's go grab an ice cream"

Marinette still wasn't very pleased with Adrien's behaviour, she knew there was something more than "just icecream". Adrien was hiding something. They walked a lil and went to the Tuileries gardens where the beautiful evening could be enjoyed. He looked at her glistening blue bell eyes in the moonlight.

A: " Marinette, I've been wanting to tell you something... But I couldn't because I thought it would change your behaviour towards me. You see I really like you ..."
M: "Adrien... I ... I wasn't expecting something like this. I might have to tell you something..."
A: "I totally get it Marinette... You don't like me....I knew it..."

He got up and was about to leave with eyes filled with tears almost attracting an akuma, but Marinette stopped him by holding his hand.

M: "Adrien look, I've always respected you and loved you as a very good friend but more than that... I don't know... Its just that... There's somebody else who doesn't understand my feelings... And I don't want use you as a rebound, I'll just make you feel bad even more! I'm so sorry Adri--"

Marinette buried her face in her palms that had turned cold and red with holding the ice cream for so long. Adrien looked at her and something made him feel sad. He said, "Marinette I don't know who that guy is but I'm sure he is making a very poor decision"
He gently then pulls Marinette towards him and gives him a huge warm hug. Marinette snuggles in his chest still sobbing not realizing her condition. Although Adrien's entire plan of the surprise was incomplete he definitely got closer to Marinette.

Adrien asked if he could walk her home. She agreed but then soon realized they're gonna catch a lot of attention. Then something struck the two of them. THERE WAS NO ONE BESIDE THEM! Something was up. Adrien & Marinette ran across the entire place still holding hands and found not a single person there.

There was probably an Akuma attack! They needed to transform, but WHERE?
