CHAPTER 03 - BONTEN DAD'S REACTING TO THEIR KIDS BEING SICK

"My heart almost stopped when you, Emi, got sick at that time"

"Yeah Shin was crying a lot"

IT WAS MIDNIGHT when Mikey woke up by the cries of his twins, he sits up abruptly getting out of the bed before rushing to the twin's room. This caused Rylee to wake up and follows her husband to the kids room while wearing a white silk robe on the way.

When Mikey entered the room, he rushed towards his son who's holding his sister's hand from the bedside trying to comfort her. Shinichiro looked away from his sister crying face as he faced his parents who just woke up before also bursting in tears, this make the couple anxious as they rushed to his side, Rylee comforting Shinichiro while Mikey checking on his daughter.

"M-mama, E-emi was c-crying earlier, s-she said her is in pain and f-feels hot" Shinichiro stuttered out as he cries on her mother chest while the latter was rubbing his back in comfort, Rylee looked up to look at her husband who calls out a doctor to the butler who stand on the doorway who complies immediately.

Mikey ordered the butler to call the doctor when he felt his daughters temperature immediately, feeling nervous and anxious seeing his daughter sick was only Mikey felt, he didn't know what was wrong to his daughter who's perfectly healthy earlier and know sick.

A few minutes when their personal doctor arrive making Mikey left his daughters side as the doctor do their work, Mikey goes to his sleeping son and his anxious wife on the extra chair in the room. Rylee looked at Mikey's face making him smile slightly before going back to his cold emotionless face, kissing her forehead before looking at his son who fell asleep from crying.

"The both of you should get rest, it's still past midnight wifey" the coldness of his voice could be heard but Rylee sees the warmth behind it before looking at her now quiet daughter, she looked back at Mikey ready to protest before closing her mouth seeing the look in his eyes.

"No buts, you need rest and you have to also visit mother-in-law tomorrow" He said again before calling a maid to escort his wife out, Rylee sigh before standing up, carrying Shinichiro careful not to wake him up before kissing Mikey's cheeks.

"Alright but please tell me the news tomorrow morning" she said as she looked at him with softness and adoration before looking at their daughter with worried eyes, this makes Mikey feel warmed before nodding and gently nudge her out of the room to the maid who's waiting for them.

"I will wifey" he said as he gently gestures her out of the room to the maid who's bowing at them, seeing his wife left the room, he walked towards the chair where his wife was sitting on before looking at the doctor who's preparing medicine syrup. This makes him stood up again going to the doctor side before grabbing the medicine, this shock the doctor before bowing as they step back away from him.

"I'll take it from here" he said as gestures the doctor out not bothering to look at them as the left before proceeding to put the syrup on the small measuring cup before giving to Emi who drinks it along with the water after drinking the medicine, he lays his daughter down as he slowly wipes the beads of sweat on his daughter forehead while holding her hand rubbing his palm with his thumb as he also hummed slowly.

"rest my little mix, you need it" he said softly as he looks at his daughter with softness in his eyes, Emi slowly closes her eyes complying to her father's words before falling asleep. Mikey smiled as he looks at his daughter before kissing her forehead.

"Don't make me worried like that, little minx"
