I'd just returned from running some errands for the house. In one hand I hold my bag with supplies, and under my other arm is a stocks of books from the Library, for my cousins. I set everything down on a nearby counter where it'll be out of the way. Over the stove I see aunt dara cooking dinner.
"Smells good"
Aunt dara greet me with a smile and I kiss her in cheeks
"Thank you, dear. How was your entrance interview for college? Do you think you'll get into the journalism program?" Aunt dara said
"I'm not sure, but I hope so! The professor seem to like me and my portfolio!" I said with excitement
" If anyone is Worthy of entering such a prestigious program. It's you" aunt dara said with smile
" Thank you aunt dara"
I take a brief moment to hug aunt dara before I moved to the cupboards so I can start gathering the plates and bowls for dinner. I set the stack next to the stove so Aunt dara can dish straight into them. As I do so, I look at what she's making and smile.
"It's smell good! And it's look like you made a lot of food" I said
" I probably made too much, but that's okay what would you like to eat?" Aunt dara ask
I take a moment to look over the food that aunt dara's prepared.
" Chicken!!!!!!!" I squeal
A bucket of chicken is almost impossible for me to resist.
" chicken, Coming right up" aunt dara said
When aynt dara finishing up cooking, she dishes up two smaller plates for me to place as well, I know exactly who they are for while I place the two small plate aunt dara moves out to the door way of the kithen and calls out.
" Sunoo! Nikki! It's time for dinner"
Not long after, I hear the running of smaller feet down the hallway, the sounds grows louder until the two young twin boys burst into the room...
