It was around midnight, the whole family was sitting in the living room of our mansion, tension thick in the air.
When Dad and I told everyone about the news, all of them were shocked, to say the least. It was like a bomb was dropped on us in the form of a "new family member".
I looked towards all of my brothers, each of them was either frowning or lost deep in thought.
"How old is she?", asked Samael after a long silence.
"We don't know much about her, I told Beto to get information about her," I replied while pinching the space between my eyebrows.
"Dad did you ever cheated on Mo-," before Dagon could even complete the sentence Sedit smacked the back of his head.
"Are you out of your fucking mind?" Sedit muttered angrily.
Dagon was going to retort back but one glare from dad was enough to shut his mouth.
"For your information Dagon, no, I never cheated on Bella, and I never will."
"He is sorry, but dad all we know is that she could be a spy," Abaddon said whining.
Such a little kid, I thought while shaking my head.
"She isn't even here and all of us are fighting, great. I don't think she's our sister, just some spy. Little bitch.", Abigor said.
"Mind your language, brother. And Dad, the spy thing can be true, what should we do now?" I said standing up.
In all this talk, Asmodeus was silent. He didn't utter a word along with Melcolm. Well, Melcolm didn't say anything because he was sleeping with his head on the couch and legs on Sedit's lap. This kid has his priorities set.
Asmodeus then said, "Dad, we can not trust the DNA report of the police but we can trust the one Samael will make."
"Elaborate," said Dad while crossing one leg over the other.
"We can send one of our most trusted guards to pick her up from the airport and drop her at the legal clinic of Samael, everyone knows about his legal clinic so it'll be no problem. If the report does not match, we can just get the information out of her and kill her, if it does, we can think about it tomorrow only," he said.
"Hm, that's a good plan. Well done, son. We'll execute the plan like that only, now, go everyone, sleep. It's already past your bedtime," Dad said while rubbing his jaw.
Everyone started to go towards their room. When Abaddon was asked to wake Melcolm up, he shook him so hard that he fell down the couch. These kids can never act mature.
Inside my room, after freshening up and changing my clothes, I laid on my bed. One thought was constantly on my mind, even though it wasn't confirmed but I have a feeling that it was true.
I have a sister.

After my little breakdown and calming myself down, I gathered everything from the floor and kept it in the bag. Thankfully, Igor and Alexei came after everything was settled.
Alexei was the first one to speak, "Kiddo, I talked to my senior, as you have no one with you on the property, dad and I and a few lady officers will be there for your security so no threat to you, let's go?"
They don't know, the real threat is lurking in the darkness somewhere in my mind.
"Oh and a social worker will be there tomorrow for you, she'll take you to the airport and will go to Italy with you, where you can meet your family."
I stiffened at the mention of the airport.
A bead of sweat from my forehead started making its way towards my jaw while my hands trembled.
"Valencia! Valencia?", a faraway voice called me.
A hand made its contact with my shoulder and I flinched.
"You ok?" Alexei asked kneeling in front of me while his eyes showed concern.
"Yea, yeah I am ok," I said while clearing my throat.
"Let's go," Igor said while narrowing his eyes at me.
When we started making our way towards their car, I looked up at the night sky filled with a handful of stars. Two of them shining brightly, my heart clenched with pain and agony, while my body relaxed a little.
I shook my head and continued walking towards the car, Igor went to the driver's seat while Alexei screamed shotgun and ran towards the car making Igor and me look towards him with disbelief written all over our faces.
He flushed red, muttered a sorry and climbed the passenger's seat while I settled myself at the back seat of the car.
The father-son duo was talking about a new case while I was staring out of the window. We passed through skyscrapers after skyscrapers. The local market, even at this hour was bustling. People chatting with each other was heard in a random mess. A group of women were gossiping with each other while a few men were smoking while talking randomly. Over a small shop, some fairy lights were lit creating a penumbra of lights. The car sped up, and then everything was a nebulous chaos.
I moved my head towards the other side to catch Alexei watching me through the rearview reflector with a warm smile plastered on his face.
I didn't pay much attention to him, once we reached my 'home', I was the first one out of the car with both of them following after me.
I opened the french doors and entered while muttering, "You can choose any room to sleep in."
"No need for that, we'll be on duty, thank you," said Igor.
Just then four lady officers entered the mansion too, greeting Igor and Alexei while nodding at me, dissolving their faces in pity.
I sighed and started my journey to the bedroom. Once there, I locked the room, freshen up myself, changed into some clothes and laid on the bed, covering myself till chin with the duvet.
I try to stay awake, to not let those thoughts, those laughs, those nightmares win but I started slipping into a deep slumber with one thought in my mind.
I have a family.
