"Oww," you groan as your eyes are blasted with light shining directly on them.
You blink through it a few times, adjusting your eyes to the light. The figure of a man with dark, spiky hair comes into view first. Your eyebrows furrow together as you glare at him.
"Good, you can see now," you hear a voice say, though it's not from the figure before you.
You shift to your eyes to the side where you find Atsumu, the man you're still angry at for dragging you into this room. However, the voice isn't from him either.
Looking between the two males, a third steps forward. "It's good to meet you, Y/N," he directs to you. "My name is Ojiro and you can address me as such."
Your stomach sinks as his figure comes to light.
He's the head of interrogation here. Definitely not one to be messed with, I'm told.
Ojiro steps towards you and bends to your height at where you're sitting. His eyes glow, showing you his excitement for what's to come.
"You're not very talkative are you?" he smirks. "That's okay, I don't need to know much. Let's just start with asking why you were following our boss around."
Your eyes shift back to Atsumu by the exit to the room. He's not pleased with your lack of answers. However, you only smirk at his misfortune.
"I'm not telling you shit," you say as you look back to Ojiro.
Ojiro's eyes darken, but he is ultimately pushed out of the way by Atsumu who puts a palm on your forehand and angles it up to look at him.
"Listen, we've got enough crap on you to kill you thirty times over for spying. Why don't you just admit it already?!" he yells.
"If you've got enough from me, then just kill me already. I'm of no use to you," you reply snarkily.
"Good idea," Ojiro laughs.
You send Atsumu a knowing smirk as he sends a quick glare in Ojiro's direction. For a moment, you notice his face soften as he looks at you before pushing his palm off your face.
"You know too much," he says quietly, "and you need to be dealt with carefully. I don't know how much you know and what you told your friends."
Ojiro sighs, understanding what Atsumu is saying. "Anything to add, Akagi?"
Akagi?! He's got to be the worst one here. "He's even crazier than you are!" Tendou told me before.
"Not now, I suppose. Let her go for now," he nods.
A huge wave of relief washes over you at his words. You hope it never comes down to you versus him in the future.
"Alright, Miya, take her back."
Ojiro walks to a nearby cabinet and pulls something out. He then tosses the object across the room to Atsumu, who catches it easily.
"Why?" he asks blankly, holding up a pair of black shackles with an angered look growing on his face. "She's not a prisoner."
"She is," Ojiro replies as if the answer was obvious. "And she's emotionally unchecked. You don't know if she'll put up a fight on your way back."
"The hell?!" you yell out in your defense, this comment making you all the more pissed off and 'emotionally unchecked'.
"That's what I mean," he sighs. "Don't leave anything up to chance. Don't you agree Akagi?"
The three of you turn your attention to the only one not already enveloped in the stupid conversation.
"Better safe than sorry," he hums with a shrug.
"Fuck you!"
Akagi sends you a shit-eating smirk at your words, forcing you to immediately shut up. Like you thought, he's not one to mess with.
"Here we are," Atsumu says as he opens the door to your room.
You walk inside, completely ignoring him as he shuts the door. You wait patiently as he removes the shackles Ojiro told him to use.
As Atsumu releases your hands, you notice the tired look in his eyes.
"Hey, Atsumu?" you call to him, but receive no answer.
He turns to walk away, and impulsively you stand up. You grab onto his wrist and force him to stop in his steps. Almost immediately, he turns around and pulls his arm out of your grasp, a look of not wanting to deal with you gracing his face.
"I'm sorry for lying to you back then," you say softly.
"Seriously?" he scoffs as he continues his walk to the door. "I can't believe I thought you were being genuine with me that whole time. I'm a complete idiot for thinking we had a connection."
"I never lied about my feelings," you cry over the sound of the door slamming behind him.
You wait for a moment, hoping that perhaps he'll come in, but at the sound of the door locking you give up.
You sigh, shaking your head in defeat as you sit on your bed. Your mind races for a while until your stomach growls in pain.
I'm so hungry, you whine.
A few minutes later, there's a faint knock at the door. You sit up straight as you hear the knob unlock and Atsumu's figure is revealed from the outside. Your stomach growls once again as you see a bowl of ramen in his arms.
Atsumu ignores the call of your stomach and sets down the bowl at your table. You run over excitedly and beam down at the food.
"This is your lunch," he replies plainly. "If you don't like it then don't eat it."
"It's great! Thank you, I was starving!" you say excitedly as you pick up the pair of chopsticks beside the bowl.
Although you don't see it, Atsumu's face softens as he watches you eat almost as if he feels bad for watching you starve.
You begin slurping down the ramen as though you haven't eaten in a week. In your defense, you can't remember the last time you ate anyway.
About halfway through your meal, you look up and see that Atsumu's still standing nearby. You send him a confused look, thought flooding your mind with concern.
Did he lace the food?
