Hi there! My name's Fanboi35, and this is my first ever story. Apologies if it sucks, it is my first one.
Before we begin, there's a few things I'd like to explain about my AU.
In this AU, the mindscape is split in two; the lightside and the darkside. The lightside is home to the most useful and good parts of the mindscape, like the imagination and dreamland. The residents are referred to as light sides, as most of you know. Meanwhile, the darkside is just the opposite. Home to the nightmare realm, bad thoughts, and necrolights, this place is not exactly an ideal home. Oh, and necrolights are slimy, shadow-like creatures that have the ability to take over and consume detached souls, making them incredibly dangerous to the sides. They're also prevalent in the outside world.
This AU also is an asylum Michael AU, for additional trauma cause I'm a cruel creator. This is also one of those AUs where William and Glitchtrap are separate entities, so yeah. You've been warned.
