Sorry for the wait! I got home after my vacation thing and just completely forgot about this.... BUT! I want to thank my boyfriend @Netherbane for getting me back into this again <3

Sorry It's so short guys, I'm trying to get back into the writing mind-set. It's not as easy as I thought it would be.

Quick Recap:

As Zero lays down upon his bed, his eyes closing, he hears shouts from the deck. Growling, he stands up, walking over to his doors and throwing them open. "What in the name of-"

He's cut off as someone shouts, "MAN OVERBOARD!"

Chapter 4:

Zero rushes out of his cabin to see his men hanging over the ship's railings, arms extended. He pushes them out of the way, and see's that I lay, facedown, in the water. Eyes wide, he takes a deep breath and jumps over and into the water, hoping that I was still alive. His men rush to get the ladders down, finally realizing who it was in the water.

As Zero reaches me, he turns me over, his eyes running over my face. "Elizabeth?" He whispers, his voice cracking.

My eyes open wide at the sound of his voice. "Z-Zero?" I ask, my voice hoarse as my lungs get used to the large amount of air. Looking up at Zero, I smile faintly, so happy to see his face, his eyes, his hair.

I can feel his arms wrap around me as he lays his forehead on mine. "I thought I lost you! Why couldn't you have just listened?" Hearing the pain in his voice, I push my head against his shoulder, the water brushing past me as we slowly start moving back towards the ship. I can hear the footsteps of the men running around on the deck, 'Probably getting towels...' I think to myself. "Elizabeth, Im going to put you over my shoulder so I can climb up. Hold on for me, please." I nod against his chest, and manuever myself just enough so I was laying over his shoulder, my legs hanging over his chest.

Slowly, Zero starts climbing the ladder that someone had thrown over the side of the ship. Several times I think I'll fall, but his grip on my legs tightens, and soon we were over the railings. He lays me down softly on the deck of the ship, and Bart comes running over, loads of towels in his hands.

"Here Cap'n." He says, handing him a towel. Zero wraps it around his waist, not even trying to dry himself off. Before Bart can put a towel on me however, the water that once soaked me now lays in a puddle next to me, leaving me completely dry.

Sitting up, my eyes start to glow a dark blue, as dark as the ocean's depths. Words start to pour out of my mouth, "Trekoh Liqindo. Zav sluva-nt ske. Zav rivpo ki." As the glow begins to fade, everyone looks at me strangely.

"Liza... What be them words?" Bart asks. Looking over to him, I raise my eyebrow slightly.

"What do you mean? I spoke in English, did I not?" Everyone shakes their heads quickly, their eyes large in shock. "Oh... Well, I said that the water king took me, and he needs to die as punishment...." I whisper, looking down at my hands. Zero comes over to me and hugs me tightly.

"I'm so glad you're safe. Never leave like that again!" Hugging him back, something in the back of my head clicks, making me gasp in the process.

"Zero... I could breathe... underwater... I had gills, and, and... Oh my... I know their whole language... What happened to me?" He pulls himself away from the hug, and looks me in the eye. Something in his facial expression scares me, and I knew that whatever he said next, would change my life forever.

High up in the clouds, a dark force was gathering. An evil being was resting there, laying amongst the greying clouds. "She will be mine this time around, Cassandra, I will promise you that. She will not escape this time around." The strange being looks over at a figure on the ground. Soon the figure begins to move, slithering towards the light. The being looks down upon his daughter, and cringes at her figure. "They will pay for cursing you my dear... I can promise you that much." His daughter looks up at him, her bright green snake eyes boring into his skin.

"Father, I may not be a beautiful human, but I am now a beautiful and Deadly lamia. Let me help you! They shall rue the day they cast out the Guardian... Balthazar, father, let us prepare for war!"
