I don't know why I did it but I put the ring on. It felt nice and cool against my skin. I looked at the writing on the ring once more. I wonder what they meant? I guess its time for a visit to the library. My head snapped up at the sound of leaves and sticks breaking beneath someone's feet.

Samantha? I looked around but couldn't see anyone else. Samantha! Run! I turned around in a circle trying to find the source of this voice. The voice itself didn't scare me but the tone and words it was saying petrified me.

The voice sounded familiar. It sounded like a girl my age. Where have I heard this voice before? Samantha run!! Stay away from him or else you will regret it!! I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I looked back to see if someone was following me. I screamed when I ran into someone.

"Sam?!? Samantha it's me Issac! Calm down." Issac said as he held me tight against him, trying to calm me down. I continued to scream until I saw his eyes. His warm hazel eyes touched my scared blue ones. I took a deep breath.

"Issac? What are you doing here?" I asked still paranoid. He let go of me so he could look into my eyes. "No the question is what are you doing here?" He asked me seriously. " Um...well I just needed a walk." I told him. "Now why are you here?" I asked again. "I was looking for you." He said seriously. The look in his eyes when he said that showed me something was wrong. "Why? What's wrong?" I asked worried. "Come with me." And before I could protest he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the forest.

I gasped. Where was I!?!? What Happened?!?! The last thing I remember was Issac taking me by the hand and pulling me through the forest. My eyes finally adjusted and then I noticed I was in my room. "What happened?" I asked aloud. I got out of my bed and turned on the lights. Was this all a dream? No! It couldn't have been! But how did I end up in my room? I scratched my head, confused.

I went downstairs and sat on the couch. That was all I did. I didn't turn on the T.V or anything. I just sat there. I sat there for two hours just thinking when my cell phone started playing O'Death by Jen Titus. I sighed as I got up and grabbed my cell from my room. "Hey Kevin." I said into the phone. "Sup Sam. Where are you?" He asked. Ugh! I forgot I told Kevin we would meet up today after school.

"So what happened today?" Asked kevin. I sat across from him in the booth. He finally got me out of the house and convinced me to go to Kamloops with him.

"Sam. What's wrong?" I heard Kevin say. I realized that I was staring right at him. "Huh? Oh! Nothing." I said quickly. "Samantha Elizabeth Smith, something is wrong. You can trust me." He said while taking my hand and looking into my eyes. My eyes started to well up with tears. I don't know why though. I stood up breaking his hold. And turned and ran out of the shop. I ran and ran as fast as my long legs could take me. I slowed down into a walk. I then noticed that I made it to the highway heading to Hells chambers.

It seemed like I've been walking for hours when in reality it had only been forty minutes. I then heard a familiar hum of a engine. I turned and saw a car slow down beside me. I recognized it. It was Issac. "Issac?" I asked as the window rolled down. "Samantha. What are you doing out here?" He asked. "I was in kamloops." I said simply. "By yourself?" He asked. "No. I was with Kevin but something happened. So yeah..." I trailed off. "Get in." Issac said bluntly. "Huh?" I said not sure if he actually said it. "Get in. I'll drive you home." He told me . I got in without another word. And with that we drove off as the sunset behind us.
