It was the next day and I just arrived at school. I made my way through the halls. I still could feel stares. I could hear whispers as I walked past people. I walked to my first class trying to be invisible. How do you become Invisible in the dark when you're the light? I took my seat and stared out the window. Flashbacks of what happened yesterday kept playing in my mind.

"Your Samantha right?"   He asked. "Yes, That's me." I replied. He chuckled. "Good to know." He said with a smug smile. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked in a sarcastic tone. "Oh! Sassy! I like that." He said taking another step towards me. My heart started to speed up. He was not even an arms length away now. "Hope to see you soon, Smith"  He said after a few seconds of silence. Then he turned and started to walk off. "Wait!" I said after gathering the courage too. "What's your name?" I asked when he turned to face me. "Dylan Valentine" He told me before turning and leaving.

"Sam!" I looked up to see Kevin standing there. "Oh." I looked around the room. Class was over. I stood up and walked past Kevin towards the door. "Samantha!" He exclaimed while running after me. I was in the hallway by the time he caught up to me. I felt his hand grab my arm and I spun to face him. "What? What do you want?" I asked annoyed. "I thought we were supposed to go to the Fall Ball this weekend." He told me with pleading eyes.  Shit! I forgot I told him I'd go with him. "Oh yeah.." I trailed off. "I actually have this thing. My dad is bringing me to a dinner that night." I lied. I Honestly didn't want to go. "Oh." He said sadly. "I'm sorry Kevin." I said while reaching out to touch his arm. He flinched and backed away. "I got to go." He said bluntly and left. I rejected him! Why do I feel like crying?

It was finally lunch and I decided to make my way to the garden. As soon as I sat down I felt like somebody was watching me. I looked around the garden but couldn't see anybody. Huh. Weird. I took out my phone and just went on Tumblr. "Smith." I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around and saw him standing there. Valentine. This time I noticed something I didn't notice before. A lip piercing. Was that always there? I was cut off from my thoughts with his voice. "What are you doing out here?" He asked while taking a seat next to me. "I don't know. I guess just to be away from people." I told him. He nodded like he understood. Did he? "I'm still trying to figure it out." I heard him mumble. "Huh?" I said. "I can't figure it out!" He yelled. "Figure out what?" I asked. Dylan had gotten to his feet and looked at me. "What's so special about you?" He said while looking right into my eyes, Right into my soul. I stared into his eyes, My heart beating fast. "I-I don't know." I stammered. He looked away. He started pacing back and forth then finally he just stopped. "It can't be." He mumbled. He took one last look at me before leaving. His eyes had this pleading look in them. I sat there shocked.

It was after school and I was heading to my car. As I walked through the parking lot I kept my eye out for him. For Valentine. I stepped into my car with defeat. I wanted to know what happened today at lunch. I wanted to know what that was all about. I turned on my car and left. I drove down the streets of Hells Chambers confused. The only place I could think of was the woods. The place where I first talked to him. I drove there in a hurry. I walked down the familiar path. I turned the corner and saw he wasn't there. "Valentine!" I yelled into the October air. Everything seemed to be spinning. The world had turned into a big fuzzy, Dizzy place. Then everything went black.
