CHAPTER 13

// Ava's POV \\

Cam led me into this beautiful park. He brought me into this garden that had the most gorgeous flowers I've ever seen. No joke.

I thought this was the surprise, but it clearly wasn't when Cam started to lead me to this whole other place.

We started to walk up this hill with a stone path. It was nice, considering the sun was starting to set.

It took us about ten minutes to reach the top.

Cam suddenly cover my eyes with his hands.

I scream. I mean if you were standing near the ledge of a hill that was hundreds of feet up and someone took your sight away from you, wouldn't you scream too?

"Shhh, calm down. You trust me right?" Cam asks.

"NOT EXACTLY," I exclaim quite frantically.

Cam walks me over somewhere, still covering my eyes.

He takes his hands off, revealing all of the LA shoreline, with a bonus of the sunset. It was absolutely breathtaking.

"Oh Cam it's so beautiful," I say in awe.

"Just like you," he says softly, smiling a little nervously.

I wrap my arms around him and kiss his cheek. "Thank you for showing this to me. This is so perfect, nothing could make it any better."

"Maybe this can," Cam says.

"Maybe what c-" I start to say but am cut off by the most heart melting kiss I could possibly get.

Cam pulls away and rests his forehead against mine. "I love you, Avalon."

I smile. "And I love you, Cameron."

YAY. I'M SORRY IT'S SO SHORT I JUST REALLY WANTED TO END IT RIGHT THERE. IT SEEMED LIKE THE BEST PLACE TO END THE CHAPTER.
