It was early in the morning and precisely at5:00am, mom would enter the room to wake me up for school... and she did!

I let out a big yawn before I lay my foot down the cold tiles and off my mattress.

The 2-week school break had just ended, and I can proudly say that I have spent my 2 weeks of break working on a 2-meter long papercraft model of an aircraft carrier.

My obsession with warships has led me to pursue for a job on one. But that depends if my parents would allow me to (they won't, believe me).

I sat down and ate my breakfast. My dad on the other hand was looking at his phone for the latest news.

He then told me that a few space rocks had crashed onto our planet. Luckily, it did not drop on a densely populated area.

After finishing my breakfast, I went for a shower. I pondered for a moment. It is as if nothing from space would land on a place where many people lived.

It will always crash either into the sea or a dense forest.

Anyways, I had myself ready for school in less than 30 minutes. We usually depart for school at 5:40am. Any more than that and we will be stuck at traffic for quite a while.

Journey to school went as usual. The lights were green all the way as there aren't many vehicles driving about early this morning.

The school was located in the heart of the city,16 kilometres away from our house. This is why we woke up super early to get ourselves ready.

Upon arriving to school, I had myself carrying three bags; one being my backpack and two hand carried bag, one with textbooks and another with lunch.

It is a three-storey school block and my class was on the 2nd floor. It was a government school, but will soon be turned to private by the following year because of a land dispute.

I walked up the stairs all the way to my class, switched the lights and fans on, and settled myself at my desk.

As usual, I was the first to arrive. I rest my backpack on the chair and pulled on four long exercise books; history, literature, science, and mathematics.

I placed these books on my desk like I always did before heading downstairs towards the canteen.

By the time I return to the class, those book swill be gone, distributed amongst my classmates to 'learn' from it.

While walking down the stairs, I heard an absurd number of sirens wailing as if there was a hot pursuit chase going on outside of the school.

There could be, and I would not know because we aren't allowed to bring in any gadgets to school.

That being said, I met a few teachers at the canteen buying themselves some coffee.

I had a little chat with them before I properly squeezed myself into the conversation.

It turned out that there are several space rocks that had landed very close to the metropolis which explains the sirens.

It was also known that these rocks crashed worldwide, as if it was meant to be distributed as it is.

The teachers begin to look at their phones, interested about these space rocks falling from the skies. They even jokingly tells me to make a wish as if these space rocks were shooting stars.
