The choppers pulled away while I hold the line behind them and the enemy.

I noticed that every time I shot salvos, I would shift behind a bit.

I then had an idea.

Because I have not gotten used to move on water forward, why not I move backwards while firing the aliens behind?

I prompted myself to move back and begin to slice through the water backwards while maintaining fire.

I kept looking behind, making sure that I was following the choppers.

I booted up the radio to alert the pilot that the aliens were gaining.

The pilot gave me a set of coordinates of the aircraft carrier.

He told me to take out a device which will show the exact location of the carrier.

I pulled the device out for a quick scan and tucked it back in.

The journey would take us approximately 30minutes to reach the 'safe area'.

The aliens began to close in quickly.

I pointed the handgun and shoot directly at any of the aliens that got too close.

I did not count how many had I gun down but the aliens seemed to back off for a moment.

I turned around and moved forward, hoping that I did not trip and fall due to the weight of the armaments on me.

Fortunately, I did not. I pulled out the radio to tell the pilot that the aliens had backed off.

The pilot disagrees.

He told me that the horde splits into three groups; one pursuing from the back while the other two went to each side of the chopper.

I did not notice the movement until I saw salvos beginning to rain on me and the chopper from three different directions.

The pilot was forced to pull the chopper further up while I try to dodge the incoming projectiles.

I looked back at the coordinates and memorised the location before the device was shot from my hand.

I looked back and saw the aliens close to me.

My heart stopped for a moment.

They were my friends who perished during the impact yesterday.

Before I could react, one of them jumped at me, causing me to fall onto the surface of the water.

They began to pile up on me and tried to rip the armaments on my body.

I snapped myself back from being so heartbroken and begin to kick them away.

These are not them... they were already dead.

I pushed the blade right through an alien face while the rest paused.

I took advantage of this moment and moved away.

The aliens then zoomed right back towards me and fired.

The shots hit directly at the main batteries, incapacitating both of it.

I can feel the pain from the shots even when it did not hit me directly.

Their actions led me to believe that they had feelings too.
