5 days later....

Black sat in his room, sulking to himself.

"Frost... this is all my fault... you don't recognise who i am because of me..." Black mumbled to himself.

suddenly, pearl knocked on the door.

"Black? are you in there? Axel and Sunshine are waiting for their training." Pearl called out.

"Go away..." Black replied.

"Black? What's wrong? You're never this moody, you haven't been since Silvia rejected you." Pearl asked

"I'm fine." Black shot back.

"You're definitely not Black. Do you want to talk about it? I'm very worried about you..." Pearl replied.

Black hesitated for a moment, before giving his answer.

"Come in..." Black said.

Pearl entered Black's room and sat next to him.

"Do you want to tell me what's wrong?" Pearl asked, leaning on Black.

Black let out a sigh.

"Its just... I don't know what to think anymore... I'm so confused, a mix of emotions...' Black said.

"Do you know what's causing you to feel that way?" Pearl asked.

"Yeah... My long lost brother... I... I think its better if you read my mind for an explanation..." Black replied.

After reading Black's mind, Pearl finally understood why black was keeping away from everyone.

"I see... it must be hard for you..." Pearl replied, hugging black to comfort him.

"He's the only family left... and yet it feels like he's still dead..." Black said, tearing up.

"I don't know how long i can continue doing this... I just want to tell him he's my brother... but Speed and his friend say that might ruin everything... It's all my fault... I made him into what he is now... I'm the worst younger brother...." Black started crying.

Pearl hugged black tightly and comforted him.

"There there... Don't blame yourself, we all make mistakes. You shouldn't give up on him. Crystal told me speed and his friend have both been affected by your brother too. she's managed to cheer them up by telling them not to lose hope. you shouldn't too." Pearl said.

"Think of it as uhmm... Me trying to get you to love me..." Pearl sheepishly said.

"Heh..." Black let off a chuckle, before quickly reverting to his serious side.

"Just don't give up, and you'll be happy eventually." Pearl said.

"I guess... Why do you insist on helping me so much?" Black said.

"First of all, I am your girlfriend. second of all, even though i can't relate to anyone here due to me being the only mon with a normal life, the best i can do is help everyone here. its nice to have a big family of friends helping each other. thats partially why i wanted to gather a family of eeveelutions." Pearl replied.

"Maybe spending more time with your brother can help him remember faster?" Pearl suggested.

"I guess... Thank you Pearl..." Black replied.

"No problem. Do you want me to stay here for a bit?" Pearl asked.

"Yes please..." Black answered, hugging Pearl tightly.

"Alright then." Pearl replied, hugging back
