A safe haevan is what she was searching for, some place to call home where instead she didn't have to sleep with one eye open and maybe just maybe get some real sleep. She knew safe places didn't exist and she was being foolish but she just wanted hope.
Wandering off the streets onto a long and thin gravel road she payed close attention to the steps she took and sounds she heard so if a Roamer showed up she could quickly put it out of its misery.

5 steps and she noticed noises it almost sounded like voices... She drifted off into the woods so she could get a sneak peek at these humans before they got the chance to see her.
