Chapter 16.

So I got a call from the doctor the other day. I got excited for a second, I don't know why. Vic had already been six feet under for three days. he called to let me know that vic was a registered organ donor, and someone had gotten vics heart. a 15 year old boy. the doctor asked me if I wanted to meet him. I agreed, and we scheduled a meeting for 3 that afternoon. kellin would come along too. when we met the boy, he was standing with his girlfriend.
"hi, I'm Josh. if I hadn't got this heart, I would have died. I had serious issues, and my heart stopped and they needed an immediate transplant, and vics was available and he literally saved my life."
I fight back tears yet again, but couldn't help but smile. that's how vic would be wanted to go out. saving someone life.
He kissed the girl and told her bye, and she walked away.
"that's Beth. I love her so much. have you ever been deeply madly in love with someone?"
I nodded.
"that's how I feel about her. I just love her so much. shes my queen."
I told Josh we had to go and hugged him bye. as I hugged him, I felt his heart beat. this heart, that once beat crazily for me, now beat for Beth. A single tear rolled down my cheek as I turned away and walked out of the hospital. I haven't seen kellin since that day, but I sent him a text the other day.
'hey kell. thanks for doing that publicity stunt where you worked in hot topic for a day.'
'oh geez. that started it all. I'm real glad I got to know you kar. I'll see ya soon'.
I locked my phone after that message, and walked into walmart. just a normal citizen, suddenly struggling to pay bills and make ends meet. One chapter of my life was over and a new one beginning. there was no way it could ever be as good as the first, but maybe it wouldn't completely suck.
