(Your POV)

I just moved from (put where you live) because my parents got a job in Paris. My dad works as a actor, and my mom works as a fashion designer. My new house is a little bigger than my last one but not too big because my parents always travel.

I used to stay with my grandmother house with my little sister but a few months ago in July she died. My grandmother was so beautiful and caring. I called her mom, even my little sister did too. But when she died my sister never felt the same.

She used to be the bright and cheerful girl but she is now very moody, and doesn't listen to everyone anymore. Except me. (Btw do you want me to show you how your sister and grandmother looks like or no? It's up to you guys)

(No ones POV)

You and your family was walk into the new house your parents buyed. "Miranda please stop having a sad face and have a beautiful smile like your older sister Elaine." Your mother said as she looked mad at Miranda "but mother-" before Miranda could finish my father spoke.

"Oh shut it Miranda" your father said as he put down some of our luggage, and I put down my bag and Miranda's. Miranda was about to cry, and ran to her new room and slammed the door.

"father! Why did you have to say that?! She is just a child! And she wants grandma back and you treating her like this makes her want her more!" you said as you ran into your sister room.

(Your POV)

As I got into Miranda's room I saw her crying while hugging a teddy bear grandma gave her.

"Miranda....please don't cry" I said as I hugged her. "But Elaine! I want mom.. not daddy and mommy!" She as she turned around and cried on my shoulder. "I know know, but Miranda you're not in this alone! you have me with you. And I'll never leave you alone. Promise" I said while kissing her cheek.

A few minutes past, and she falls asleep on my shoulder. I picked her up and took her to bed.

(That's her bedroom)

I lay her down on the bed and lay next to her "I love you Miranda....." I say while falling asleep.

          ~~~time skip to tomorrow~~~

I woke up in Miranda's bed still. "Miranda you have to wake up." I said in a low voice so she wouldn't be scared. "Whyyyyyy" she said as she turned her head away from me.

"Because it's our first day of school and you have to go" it seems like she didn't like the word school "what!? I'm not going to school! Pleaseeeeeee Elaine!" She said as she was about to cry.

"Miranda you have to go to school." I said as I got up and went to my room "fine...".

(Your room)

I went to take a shower, and then grabbed my clothes and backpack.

I went down stairs and sew Miranda eating breakfast while hugging Victor (the teddy bears name) and having a sad look on her face.

"Finally you came. Elaine you have no time to eat so just go to the car, and go to school. And here is your schedule." My mother said as she handed me my schedule. "Thanks" I said as I hugged Miranda, and ran to the black car.

I finally got to Françoise Dupont High School. It looks okay, but hey it doesn't look half bad. "Bye mrs.Whitlock." (he was the one who was driving) I said while opening the door, and walking out. As I walk out I see a old man asking for money outside.

'I should give him something' I thought as I walked to him "hello miss, do you have some money you can offer? I'm so hungry" he said as he smiled weakly at me. "Yes of course I do" as I grabbed my wallet and gave him 10 dollars.

"Thank you! Thank you! I pray for you to be blessed" he said as he put his hands together. "Your wel-" I was about to finish until I heard the bell ring "oh no I'm late! I have to goa have a nice day!" I said as I ran up the stairs and to my class but then I fell on something and tripped 'Elaine you idiot!' I thought as I was waiting to hit the floor but for some reason I didn't "you okay?" I heard something say well more like someone...........
