Chapter Five

When I awoke, its was my birthday. I got out of bed excited to see my friends and family then realized my friend's aren't coming and I'm supposed to be turning into a witch. My birthday is ruined. I hear voices down stairs and realized my cousins and aunts have already arrived. I should go down stairs just as I thought that someone knocked on the door than, just walked on in it was my mom.
"Are you ready for your party sweetie?" My mother asked.
"Yeah I guess." I told her.
"Then let's go down stair everything is already set up." My mother said.
"Okay mom." I said.
"Your aunts and cousins arrived last night." My mother said.
"They did?" I asked.
"Yes they did but you were asleep and i didn't want to wake you." She said.
"Oh wait mom my friends aren't coming I told them it's not a good idea with my aunts and cousins being here." I said.
"Baby you didn't have to tell your friends they couldn't come, your cousins and aunts are supposed to be on their best behavior." My mom said.
"Well I'm not going to risk it." I told her.
"Well okay sweetie let's go down stairs." She said.
We headed down stairs. It wasn't just my aunts and cousins there was people I didn't even know. When I walked down the stairs I realized I wasn't dressed I told my mom hold on I have to go get dressed. I ran to my closet grabbed a pair of LA Angels jeans out of my closet a blue shirt with a pull over hoodie. My mom was waiting on the steps were I told her to hold on she smiled at me and said "you look beautiful sweetie." I told her "thank you". We started walking down the steps again and as we were about to hit the bottom step. Everyone who was their looked up at me like a was a goddess my mom looked at me and smiled as she smiled my whole party changed into a masquerade ball. Looked at everyone who was just in casual clothing now in formal wear. I looked down at my outfit and I was wearing a beautiful dark purple princess gown. It made me feel like a princess I started smiling and asked my mom "what just happen." She said "a spell me and your grandmother casted."
I was pretty amazed at what magic could do. It was crazy seeing it happen, but it was amazing at the same time. When I finally was done looking probably like a little kid. I saw my cousin Rylee by herself looking like she was upset. I went over to her to make sure she's okay.
"Hey Rylee is everything okay?" I ask. She looks up at me then says
"I'm not really sure, it's just do you see the guy over by Amber and Catelynn?" She says to me. I look over and say "yeah I do why."
"Well Rylee say's "he's a Warrior."
"What's a warrior ?"I ask.
"A warrior is a hunter of demons, warlocks, witches and other magical creatures that turn bad." Rylee says.
"So what's bad about that?" I ask.
She turns to me and says "Nothing ever comes good from them." She says.
"So you're saying that he's bad news, but then why is Amber and Catelynn talking to him?" I ask.
"Because Catelynn can read minds and she the future. and so Amber is talking to him so Catelynn can figure out why he really is here." She says.
"Oh, well I have a question for you when you got your powers how long did it take to get them and how is this all possible?" I asked her.
"Well when I got my powers I was about to go to bed after my party, I felt like I couldn't breath my body got shaky and then a couple of seconds later I was perfectly fine, the twins Catelynn and Amber both had different symptoms than me when they got their powers." Rylee was telling me.
Just as I was gonna ask her another question Catelynn and Amber walked up and they looked serious. Rylee sat up straight and ask "so what did you get?"
Amber said nothing, but Catelynn said that "the warrior isn't here for anyone he's just here so he can talk to Kailee." Then Catelynn said to Rylee in a whisper thinking I can't hear them that "him and his partner are here looking for a demon that has been following Kailee."
