Growing up, Brenda had an EASY LIFE, she was happy, her life was going very well and she was very proud of all her achievements.
Brenda got a great family and circle of friends until one day something very unfortunate happened to her, she could no longer enjoy life as she used to.

Brenda came from a well to do family, her parents were strict but  lovely. Brenda was educated, brilliant and a beautiful young lady.
Brenda was a good daughter to her parents and a good big sister to her younger ones.
Brenda never said "no" to her parents not just because they were strict but because her parents were kind of loving and supportive, in their own way.

Brenda could remember her childhood with smiles because her parents made sure she had everything she wanted.

Brenda fell in love with a young boy named Lucas in her first year in college. That love story ended shortly after because Brenda knew that her parents will never accept Lucas, because they had someone else in mind.
Brenda's father wanted her to get married to chief Maxwell's first son, Larry.
Chief Maxwell and Brenda's father were childhood friends and they had always wanted Larry and Brenda to fall in love with each other and get married but when that didn't happen naturally, they played god and got their children engaged to each other.

Larry was an arrogant and irresponsible young man but  Brenda married him to make her parents happy.
Brenda was 23 years old when she got married to Larry.
And of course it was never a happy marriage. As their marriage lacked love.

Two years later, Brenda met a car accident. An accident caused by her irresponsible husband; Larry.
Some how Larry and Brenda were arguing before the accident happened. She had caught Larry pants down with another woman and that was not the first time.
Larry was not remorseful, instead he had disrespected his wife in the presence of his lover. He got dressed and He dragged her into the car as soon as Brenda threatened to report the matter to their parents.

" You won't do such thing, you have no right over me, I don't love you! All you do all day is spy on me, how did you know that I will be here in this hotel? How did you find me? how many times will I tell you that I don't love you" Larry thundered as he started the car, his words had broken Brenda's poor heart, She sat beside Larry with tears falling from her eyes.
"You should have said that to our parents when they arranged our marriage two years ago, I wouldn't have been in this bondage called marriage with you, I'm going to report you to your parents, God knows how much I have tried to make our marriage work" Brenda said still in tears.

Larry was scared, he knew if Brenda should report him to his parents that he will be in alot of trouble. The last time Brenda had reported Larry to his parents, he recalled the resounding slap he had received from his father and the old man had warned him to behave himself and threat Brenda nicely.
"Brenda is your wife, you have to treat her well" his parents had reminded him while he listened speechlessly.

Brenda was in tears and Larry was still lost in his thoughts when he suddenly lost control of the car and the car fell into a ditch. Larry had managed to jump out and he saved himself before the car fell into the ditch but Brenda who was trapped in the car sustained a lot of injuries that left her unconscious.

She was dragged out of the car some minutes after and was rushed to the hospital. She sustained a Ribcage injury and the worst a spine injury.

Brenda woke up in the hospital few days after, she was in severe pain. She spent two and half months in the hospital and each day was dreadful, she was at the verge of despair and pain.
