Brenda had thought that everything will be fine again, Untill One day, the doctor revealed something that broke her heart into tiny pieces.
" Your spine injury is so bad, you won't be able to walk again" The Doctor revealed. Brenda almost lost her breath, her parents held her and they all cried like someone had died.

Brenda's parents assured her that everything will be alright but on the day Brenda was discharged from the hospital, The doctor came with more disheartening news.
Everyone was present even Brenda's in-laws were there too to take her home.
" Due to the spine injury and fixation at your back, you won't be able to give birth to a child" The doctor revealed again

Brenda was devastated and so was everyone. Brenda's in-laws especially Larry's father, Chief Maxwell, was disappointed, The news has completely shattered his hope of getting grand children from Brenda.
" Why me? Why I'm I alive? This is torture, I should have died in that accident" Brenda said in tears.
Her mother tried consoling her but she was inconsolable.
Due to the way Brenda was feeling, her parents were left with no choice but to take her home.

Weeks turned into months and no single word or message came from Brenda's in-laws.
They had not visited nor called to know how Brenda was faring.
It was obvious that they don't want her anymore.
"What's the need of calling her my son's wife, when she can't give me an heir. The marriage is of no use, let her remain with her parents" Chief Maxwell had told his wife and son, Larry and they listened speechlessly.

The worst happened when Larry and his family sent a divorce documents to Brenda.
When Brenda got the documents, she cried so bitterly. Her father who felt her pain, apologized for making the wrong choice of husband for her.
Brenda was broken and her world had crashed right in her face. It was indeed obvious that Larry was not in love with Brenda, because any man who loves his wife won't leave her when she needs him the most.

Brenda picked up a pen laying around, with the Divorce papers placed on the dinner table while she sat helplessly on the wheelchair. She signed the divorce papers and she sent a text message to Larry afterwards.
The text reads " I know God has a greater plan for me, thats why I'm still alive, for two years I have been clinging to you, trying to make our marriage work, assuming I knew you will leave me like this, I would have free you before now, who knows I might not have ended up in a wheelchair but today I liberate myself by setting you free, I have signed the divorce papers and I don't want anything from you, have a good life"
Brenda never got a reply but she felt a bit better after sending the text.

Not too long, News came to Brenda that Larry got married again while Brenda was still getting used to the wheelchair and her shattered life.
Often time, she wished she never married Larry.
Chief Maxwell and Brenda's parents were no longer friends after everything that happened between their children.
With time, The two families, grew apart.

Gradually Brenda became a bitter disabled lady. Coming to terms with her disability wasn't going to be easy.
She hated her life and many times, she had wished she died in the accident instead. she had attempted Suicide many times but her parents always came to her rescue as they never left her alone for a second.

Her parents especially her father felt responsible for what had happened to his daughter. Many times he had blamed himself and he had wished he never arranged her marriage to Larry.

"My daughter would not be in a wheelchair, if I didn't insist she marries Larry, that boy is as heartless and wicked as his parents, oh this is so unfair to my daughter and I wish she forgives me" Brenda's father had thought in tears.

In this darkest time of Brenda's life, her family was so supportive but she constantly blamed her parents for what she was going through, many times she had wished she never obeyed them. She was always boiling in anger, she was always angry as she can no longer enjoy life as she used to. Her life had Suddenly fallen apart. All kinds of scenarios had come up; she felt helpless because she could no longer be in a position to support herself or take up a job and all her dreams are falling apart.

This is the hardest time of Brenda's life and she was so down about it,
Brenda didn't allow herself to come to terms with her disability and her whole world is upside down and she believed her life will never be the same again.
Each day she felt miserable fighting her disability and coming in terms with the fact that she will never become a mother.
Thinking positively is no easy matter for Brenda as she had lost every sense of positivity left in her, she was always depressed and frustrated.
