I drag my latest victim along the planks of the train tracks. Her blood leaks over the pebbles. The teddy I sewed into her stomach was the one my girlfriend gave her for Valentine's Day, instead of me. Her face is unrecognisable. The slits on her wrists and ankles bleed like crazy. I lay her across the tracks, her head over one side and her legs the other, her torso and arms lay in the middle. I tie her arms and legs together with a hog tie. I stand up and take a final photo of my work on my polaroid camera and walk off the tracks and into the woods. I hide behind the bush I normally do and wait, staring at my watch. I hear a train racing down the tracks.
"4:00, right on time" I say with a smile.
The train zooms past me, as I sit and watch her head roll and her legs get dismembered from her body.
I laugh quietly and pull out my notebook and pen. I turn it to a new page and start writing.
"Another one Avery? Seriously?
You really can't keep your hands off other girls while dating someone can you? Well, I got rid of her for you. Maybe next time, don't go for an easy target.
Love,
The cuddly killer <3."
I grab an envelope from my bag and put the photos I had taken in the envelope with the letter. I close the envelope and seal it with a bear sticker.
"Time to burn the evidence" I say.
I get up and grab my back pack off the dirty ground and head deeper into the woods where a circle of dark ash lays under a pile of wood and sticks. I chuck my back pack back onto the ground and crouch down to it.
"I'll need to burn the paper, envelopes, knife and stickers" I say.
I grab them out of my bag and chuck them onto the pile of wood. I then grab out my box of matches and light one, giving one last smile before I light it. But some things missing.
"Shit! The body!" I yell.
I stand up while throwing the match behind me and start to bolt back to the tracks. Luckily the next train wasn't for another 3 hours so I could take my sweet time. I keep running until I make it back to the tracks and stop to take a look.
"Ok good, her legs are there, her bodies still in the middle and her head is just a bit down the side, this'll be easy" I say to myself.
I start to walk over to her body and pick up her dismembered legs first, placing them between mine. I then pick up her torso and slip the rope around my waist and the leg rope around my arm. Lastly, I walk over to her head and pick it up. I look at her face and smile. The scratches really made a difference and her eyes were popped out of their sockets. Exactly what she deserved.
"Oh what a sight to see. My, my, Avery. You did this to poor old Eva. Could've all been avoided if you didn't sleep with her like you did the others who got the exact same treatment. I'm sorry Eva, but it had to be done" I say as I talk to a dismembered head.
I place Eva's head under my arm by her legs as I walk back to the pile of wood in the forest. As I reach the pile however, there was an orange glow, the match had lit the wood for me already.
"Oh this day couldn't get any better now could it?" I yell with a laugh.
I untie the rope from my body and hers, letting her limbs drop the the ground, no care of even trying to catch them. I take a deep breath of victory in before crouching over her dismembered limbs and chucking them onto the fire one by one, watching each one cook like a chicken roast.
"I should get changed before heading back to town. Blood stains are not a good look for someone who is "innocent" now are they?" I say to myself.
I look down into my back pack. My girlfriends sweater lays there, the one she gave me for my birthday. Along with it was a pair of black shorts, white socks and my vans.
