Like yesterday Jennie prepared breakfast for her Hubby and in-laws. She went to wake Lisa up.

"Lisa good morning. Wake up now," Jennie pecked Lisa's lips.

Lisa shoot up from her bed. Still not used to the peckings I guess 🤭

"Good Morning Jennie," Lisa weakly responded and went to shower as usual.

Lisa looked pale and somewhat exhausted.

After showering, Lisa and Jennie went to the dining area.

"Oh you both are here. Good Morning," Mothe Manoban greeted.

And the couple greeted back.

"Pran you look pale. Are you ok?" Father Manoban worriedly asked.

"En, I'm okay."

After finishing their breakfast, Lisa stood up from her place.

"Jennie, I'm going to work. I'll be home early."

Lisa leaned and kissed Jennie's cheeks and went out fastly.

Mother Manoban, Father Manoban and Bambam was surprised by Lisa's sweet gesture towards Jennie.

Not only their cold and workaholic Lisa said she'll come home early, she also kissed Jennie in the cheeks.

They started teasing Jennie for that.

After their great breakfast time, mother and father Manoban went out to spend their time together. Bambam also went to his hospital.

Ps. Bambam's a professional cardiology doctor and have his own hospital.

Meanwhile, Jennie had nothing to do. So she planned to go to her favourite store, Chanel.

Jennie POV

I can't believe it's been a month since I went to Chanel. On my way to the store, I received a call. Guess who, My Annoying Cousin.

On the Call

"Chu, better be important reason that you're calling me right now. I'm going to Chanel."

"J-enDuek"

"What is it and why are you stuttering?!"

"CEO L fainted in the meeting."

My whole world stopped for a second. What happened to my hubby?!

"Chu don't do your stupid pranks on me."

"I am not cousin. She's not alright. She came to work looking pale. I asked her to rest before the meeting but she didnt. She ended up fainting in front the client."

"I'm on my way to the office right now."

"Chu where's Lisa?"

"She's in her office room mumbling your name from just now. She fainted and then she was ok for abit after resting. She's again not feeling well. It seems like a high fever and CEO L is mumbling your name from just now. That's why I had to call you."

She's mumbling my name?! She's not feeling well?!

"Did you call the doctor?!"

"I didn't deuk. CEO L restricted me from doing that and keep on mumbling your name. So no choice but to call you," Jisoo sighed worriedly.

"Let me go and check on her. Wait here, I'll call you if I need something."

Apparently Lisa was placed in her secret room in the office room.

Ps. Lisa have a personal bedroom in her office to rest anytime.

My heart clenched upon seeing my hubby's vulnerable and weak side. I went beside and check her temperature. It's high fever literally more than 38 °C!?

I asked Jisoo to call Lisa's personal doctor to prescribe medication for her.

Based on the doctor advise, Lisa have to rest for complete 2 weeks to cure her high fever and fatigue.

She just started to reduce her working hours and the next day she's having high fever + fatigue. The doctor also prescribed some strong dose medicines to heal her fastly.

I informed this matter to Lisa's Mom and Dad. They cursed Lisa on the phone for not taking care of herself 😂. Mom and Dad also said I can take Lisa to our penthouse, which is a gift from the Manoban family for our marriage. Without rejecting this perfect offer, I agreed to it.

And I saw my hubby still lying on the bed (office one) mumbling my name. I shooed Jisoo and the doctor outside to wipe her body. Maybe, it can help reduce her temperature.

"Jen-nie.... Jennie.... Jennie," I was happy hearing her calling my name even in this condition. She needs me right now and I'm going to take care of her.

"Shhh... Shhh... Lisa I'm here. Wake up and sit now. Let's eat medicine."

"Jennie help me."

I helped her to sit up. I fed her some porridge then the medicine.

"How are you feeling right now," I caressed her face.

"Not alright" she replied in a raspy voice.

It's hot tho 😬. Jennie control yourself.

"Lisa you're having high fever and you passed out on the meeting because of your fatigue. You gonna take rest for 2 whole week and I'm gonna take care of you. Mom and dad will handle the company until then. Meanwhile, we will be staying at our new penthouse. Is that clear?" I talked in a authoritative voice.

"En," she replied and dozed off. I guess the medicine makes her sleepy.
