❝ WHO ATE IT? ❞

In Gummy's bright and joyful living room, Kala, Harry and (Y/n) were lounging almost to the point of sleep on Gummy's long, pastel green couch. Meanwhile Gummy himself was plopped neatly onto his pink beanbag beside them, also almost to the point of collapsing into deep sleep.

Suddenly, the sound of the doorbell ran through the apartment.

"Your turn to get it..." Gummy whined to the others, only slightly opening his eyes to see them.

"I got it last Tuesday, it's Kala's turn." Harry confirmed, only opening his eyes to look towards Kala.

"Wrong; because I got it twice the day before that, that means it's (Y/n)'s turn." She said, lazily looking towards her sister on the other side of the sofa.

"Nah, I got it twice last Friday AND Saturday! That's more than all of you, so it's definitely not my turn to get it." (Y/n) reminded them, not even opening her eyes.

"You did not!"

"Did too!"

"Double did not!"

Soon Kala, Harry and (Y/n) were all arguing about who's turn it was to welcome whoever had taken the time to visit.

Gummy was trying to return to his relaxing mental and physical position, so was ignoring the debate beside him until he heard his friends shout "BACK ME UP HERE, GUMMY!"

He sighed. "Double double was... maybe. Look, I'll just get it." He said, sliding off his beanbag to open to door, hopefully to end the argument.

"Don't you dare!"

"It's his turn!"

"No it's her turn!"

"Well whoever's turn it is, it seems kind of silly for us all to-" Gummy began, until the doorbell ringing a second time stopped him in his tracks.

All four friends ran to the door, opening it aggressively out of pure annoyance, screaming "WHAAAATT???" at the unfortunate person who had come to pay a visit.

The visitor was Gummy's neighbour, Granny Peters. She was holding a plate of interesting looking donuts.

"Hello neighbours, I had a few extra, so I thought I'd bring you over a plate of my absolute favourite donuts!" She said, offering the plate to the group.

"Wow, thanks Granny." Gummy said, his irritation of the previous argument becoming gratitude as he accepted the donuts.

"Hope you like them as much as I do. Bye!" Granny left.

Gummy and his friends surrounded the kitchen table, looking at the donuts from Granny.

"Well, that sure was nice of her..." Harry said, to break the awkward silence.

"The thought was anyway, but the donuts look, well, kinda strange." Gummy said, curiously looking at the donuts. The dough was an interesting, 'off' shade of creamy brown, and the icing decoration was a mixture of unappetising brown and green.

"They do don't they. I've never actually seen donuts that look like these before. How about you guys?" Kala nervously asked.

"Well, the hole part in the middle looks pretty familiar." Gummy said, making (Y/n) quietly giggle on the stool next to him.

"But all the rest is well..." (Y/n) started.

"Weird..." Harry finished.

"You're just saying that because you're a picky eater!" Kala said, almost trying to start up another argument.
