Nothing but darkness overlaps the wet, black street as I lean against the cold, concrete wall. I pull out my phone to check the time. 11:20 AM. I guess it's time I should go pick up Demi for the concert. My hand fishes through the front pouch in my jansport backpack and eventually pulls out my keys. I walk to the car and get in, trying to be at least somewhat cool when it comes to going to this concert I've been waiting for almost a year to see now. Anxiety gets the better of me when I get in and buckle up. Well, at least I have this huge truck. It fits 8 people, including the driver.

Before I started the truck, I texted Demi to let her know I was coming soon. My hand almost instantly went for the radio and I turned on my radio, instantly hearing 5SOS start filling my ears. Today's the day! You're meeting the boys today! It takes every ounce of willpower to not get all girly and overemotional. I drove over to Demi's house and saw her waiting outside with Angela. "Hey, it's almost time for the gates to open. Get in so we can beat traffic," I complain. Angela and Demi get in the car and immediately buckle up, then I start driving again.

"So are you serious that we're meeting them? Or was that just a joke?" Demi asked, excitedly. "No, it's legit, 100% authentic. Why, did you just think I was trying to show off?" I asked, holding back the urge to laugh at her question. "Honestly, yes, I thought you were. Sorry, I just didn't think you were serious, I thought you were just kidding or whatever." I laughed and turned the music up, singing along with Calum's voice as he sang the lyrics to Amnesia. "Come on, sing with us!" I yell, rolling down the windows. We all started singing Amnesia as we went down the street, having fun and trying not to cry the whole time.

Song after song, word for word, we sang the entire album on the way to the concert. "We're here!" we all yell, eagerly. I could literally hear the people in the arena and we were in the parking lot. "You excited for this or what?" Demi asked, shaking my shoulder lightly. I giggle in excitment - yes, I giggled like a little girl - and park the car. "Oh my gosh, we're actually here!" Angela added. Demi chuckles and we all get out, then walk to the front gate. The line was unbelievably long. I know they're popular, but from the way people act around here it's like they don't like 5sos. It took awhile, but we eventually got inside and made our way to our seats. It was perfectly in the middle and I couldn't be happier with the seats. "Are you okay?" she asks. "We're seeing the four guys that have made my day, everyday, for the past 2 years. Of course I'm okay," I explain.

It starts getting dark and I feel myself start to get extremely anxious. It was 10 times worse then before. The lights on stage turned on and my heartbeat was in sync with the drums. Oh god. "Whoo!" Angela yells in pure thrill. I laugh a little and keep my eyes on the stage, scared I'd miss something if I looked away. They built up the tension of the music, matchig my heartbeat, and as soon as the guys walked on stage, I threw my arms up with Angela and Demi and screamed. The concert started and I didn't speak once during the entire thing. I only sang along with the four boys on stage, knowing every word as well as I knew my birthday.

Time flew by faster then I wanted it to, but it was the greatest night of my life so far. When the concert was over, we all started to leave. We got outside and I couldn't help but laugh. "That was so amazing! We actually just saw 5 Seconds Of Summer!" Demi yelled, happily. I turned around to hug my two besties, but stopped in my tracks. "Um... Demi, head check," I say, desperately looking around. She looked around the area we were in and I pulled Demi off to the side. "Look, we'll be fine, we just have to call her," I say. I pull out my phone and tried to unlock my phone, but it wouldn't turn on. "My stupid phone's dead..." I mumble. Demi checks her phone and groans when she finds out hers is dead, too. "Look, we can go to security and they'll help us find her," she says quickly.

Without another second's hesistation, she grabs me and starts pulling me towards one of the security guards. We tell the guard we can't find Angela, then he pulls his radio out and says we have to go with him. Please let her be okay. He takes us to the back of the arena and unlocks a door, then we all go in. Demi and I follow him down a long, cement hallway and he brings us into a somewhat brighter room. "Sit down, we'll have her here in a few minutes. All of the guys are keeping an eye out," he says. Demi leans against the wall and sighs. I look around the room and almost can't believe we're here. How could we lose a human being? An actual person? I mean, she was right behind me when we walked out!
